I am giving this product 4 starts because it is as advertised and the quality/fit is great. I ordered the regular Pink, and am very disappointed. I know the computer screen can't show the exact color, but compared to the Ballet Pink this displayed much more as a subtle, pale, classy pink. It is anything but. It is more of what I call Barbie Pink, the pink I can't stand. Not classy or subtle at all. I may try to soak in bleach and see what that does. Or, for this price, just suck it up and order the other Ballet Pink.If you don't want a bright, barbie pink color; but are looking for more of a classy subdued pink, DON"T ORDER THE REGULAR PINK. I can't speak for the color of the ballet pink because I haven't seen it, but if I end up ordering it I will come back and update my review accordingly.As for the size, how can it be that some say this is sooooo short, and others say it fits as expected? I believe it's probably the difference between those who want it placed at the true waist, and the rest of us who want it hanging down lower on the hips. As I can't stand things at my true waist and like things hanging down lower on my hips, that's where I place this skirt, and where the length ends up being perfect. If you want a skirt that hangs at your true waist and is still long enough, this isn't the skirt for you.

I bought this skirt for ballet class, and I love the way it looks and fits! I'm also very happy that this skirt only cost $10. UPDATE: After several months, this skirt has held up wonderfully between regular wear and washing. I expect it to last for many more months to come.I am 5'3, 105lb, waist is 26 inches, hips 34 inches. When I wear the skirt at my true waist, it hits just above mid-thigh -- plenty long, and plenty of coverage. It completely covers up my behind. So I am very happy that I ordered the small. Note that for regular street clothes, I wear a size XS/S or 2 in skirts/pants. And I wear a size medium in most Theatricals products, like leotards and shorts.Also, it is also very flattering! I have since bought the skirt in several different colors.

I really wanted a shorter skirt with more overlap than the Body Wrappers one I already have. This skirt really does the job. It is one length all the way around with tapered ends, and there is tons of overlap--absolutely no gap when I tie it. The ties are really, really long, though, so I had to trim them a little to keep the bow from getting too big. I really love this item, but I had issues with getting the color I wanted. I originally ordered this skirt in ballet pink. THe product mailed to me was black. So I returned it and reordered it in pink again, and it came in black AGAIN. I am keeping it because I really like it and don't want to go through the order process again. I would not recommend ordering any color other than black, because you probably won't get the color you asked for. Other than that, it's a fabulous product.

This is a perfect wrap skirt for the cheapest price available, it fits exactly as I expected and didn't wrinkle after sitting in my gym bag for a week! For reference I am about 130 lbs, 5'6", and I ordered the m/l. I wrap it around the narrowest part of my waist and it covers about an inch or two past my bum. If I wore it a little looser it could look longer and more flowy, but it works perfectly at the short length for everyday dance exercise

Despite some of the reviews i read about being to short, it was the perfect length for me. i go to an art school for dance, and my teacher needed us to purchase wrap skirts that cover appropriately and it was perfect. i am 108 lbs and 5’6”. i ordered a size small/ medium. it covered my butt and still was “high waisted”

I bought this for my VERY tall 9 year old in size PS. She likes it. It's the perfect length for her. I would think that it might seem too short for a woman of average height. The strings are quite long. I thought about cutting them, but my daughter just wraps them around twice. At this price I will probably get her another one or two in different colors.

I actually bought this for my 7 year old daughter, thinking a petite small would fit. It is a bit big, but this can be hidden by overlapping the skirt and wrapping the ties around the waist a few extra times. Glad it wasn't for an adult, or I'd say it's too short. For her performance it's perfect and appears more "ballet" like then the overly puffy girl skirts at the store.

I am 5'2 and very slim. I ordered a small and this skirt fit very well other than the fact that, since my hips are placed fairly high on my body, it was slightly short. Good quality for the low price. I would definitely purchase this again.
