Triple Eight Youth Little Tricky Protective Pack with Instructional DVD (Black, Junior)

I've purchased two sets of these for my 4 and 7 year old kids. The wrist guards are slightly too large for my 4 year old, but the rest of the pads fit both of them well. We use them for roller skating at the roller rink and scootering on the sidewalk and street. They've held up well, provide great protection, are very comfortable even in a hot climate, and are easy for the kids to put in by themselves.

My grandson received a new skateboard for his birthday and we purchased this protective pack to go with it. He is a very slender 8 year old, and these pads fit him perfectly. They look cool and he likes to wear them, so hopefully it will prevent some bumps, bruises, broken bones, and road rash. Nice to have the instructional DVD as a bonus, but can't comment on that as I don't know if he has watched it yet.

My daughter is a really petite 6 year old and wanted to skateboard. She did look a little bit like a storm trooper with everything on, but in a cute way. They let her move well and I am glad she likes to wear them.

Until a few months ago, I played roller derby. Anyone who plays knows it's a whole family commitment. My 6 year old loves derby but she had a bad fall at the rink one day and was afraid to skate for like a year. I got her these and some white Chicago's (oh yeah) and now she's throwing herself around doing 6 point falls and knee taps like a champ. The elbow and knee pads fit her fine, the wrist guards are a little snug. Quality is decent for the price. If your kid is at the skate park regularly or on some rough concrete a lot, you may want to skip these and go for some more heavy duty gear, but these helped my kid overcome her fear of falling and hurting herself again, she trusts them.

My 5yo daughter is really slim and petite for her age, and I was having trouble finding pads that were protective enough for skateboarding. I had an inexpensive set that I could not tighten enough to keep from slipping off her elbows and knees constantly. The Triple 8's looked bigger so I wasn't sure they would work but because of how they're designed they stay in place so much better. They are also just all around better quality and provide much more padding and protection. She dropped in on a mini-ramp for the first time yesterday and I am so much more comfortable now that she's wearing these. She's now skating pretty much everyday so hopefully these will hold up for a while. She does wish they came in different colors, though, maybe to match her Triple 8 hot pink helmet!

we have received two right wrist protectors and nothing for the left hand and now we cannot complain and have the protector for the left hand. We only can send it back and wait till next delivery, but I want only one wrist protector for the left hand

I purchased this set for my 8yo. son for outdoor rollerskating, the wrist guards and knee pads perform decently and fit him nicely, unfortunately the elbow pads disappointed me in performance. My son scraped his elbow because the elbow pad moved with the impact of the fall, next time I will go with the slip on kind for more security instead of just velcro straps.

I bought these for my daughter who likes to skateboard and finds it fabulous fun to ride her board down our very steep driveway. I like that the bundle includes wrist guards as well as knee and elbow pads. They fit her well and should fit her for a few years to come. They are well made and seem to be sturdy
