Honeywell HZ-7300 Deluxe Energy Smart Cool Touch Heater, Black Medium

I’ve owned several of these over the years. Use them in my bathroom as I like it like a sauna when I get out of the shower. They tend to last only a year or two with heavy use but they provide unparalleled heat output and are easy to use and quiet. When my last one died, I discovered that Honeywell quit making them and bought that Dreo brand piece of rubbish on Amazon. That thing can’t even come close to the performance of the Honeywell heater, and, it has a terrible function that can’t be turned off whereby it clicks on and off in an “ECO” mode and sometimes it’ll stay off for a while and I have forgotten that it’s turned on so I’ve left the house and let the stupid heater run all day!!! By a stroke of luck, I found a vendor on Amazon who had one of these Honeywells in stock so I bought it right away and took the Dreo (should change their name to Drek—-look it up) straight to the trash. If the folks at Honeywell read any of these reviews, PLEASE bring this heater back into production, it’s a fantastic unit and when I ask it for full blown heat, it will run continuously until I physically turn it off which in turn means I won’t forget that it’s running and risk burning my house down.

Bought this heater to replace an old ceramic heater than no longer worked well. Love the ceramic grill as my cats like to lie in front of heater on cold nights. Metal grills become hot and can burn children/animals. One feature this heater has that my other did not is that it has an on/off button so I don't have to cycle through the temperatures to turn it off. The electric cord is almost 7 feet long making it easy to use in any size room. It comes with most of the cord wound underneath the heater. I keep only 4 feet unwrapped to plug into the wall. The heater heats up fast and maintains a constant temperature as it cycles in accordance to the temperature set on top. We have two of these in our 600 sq ft living area and were warm when temp dropped to 6 degrees outside. Am buying my third one today for another room. If people are having plug problems, it may be because they have too many appliances on their circuit. This overload can result in electrical fires, etc. Usually circuit breakers protect against overload, but faulty or old circuit breakers may not work properly, causing the circuit to remain open.

I bought this heater back on Dec 17th 2020, for about $50. It ran all winter long for going on five seasons now. This is the second one we've purchased. The first one is an older model, and it still works great. We just felt we could use one for another part of the house. They work great, keep the rooms nice and warm, and haven't burnt the house down. Win-Win

This is a pretty good heater! We bought two of them to heat a three bedroom two bath apartment. We did end up buying a bigger heater to assist these two smaller ones as well as to keep from moving one each time we switch rooms. The larger one was bought to heat a good sized living room and dining room as well as the kitchen! I wouldn't hold this little heater to THAT big of a standard, but it does a good job of heating one good sized room. I love the high/low and temp option settings as well as the safety features. It does not seem to get hot to touch, which is important with children around, though I haven't actually touched it I do come close. My only complaint is that the thermostat sometimes reads that the room is warmer than it is and we have to set the heater to the high/low setting in order for it to come on. I don't like this because the heater runs constantly in these settings. All in all it is a good heater and I do recommend it. We used them in place of the apartment thermostat in order to cut heating costs drastically.

*Edited to add... I began using this heater last summer and I loved it. But after 3 months, the buttons quit working. It only works now on one mode and only on oscillate. I can't put it on low and have it just stay in one place. Very annoying. It was past the return window when this happened. I assume I got a dud because this is a good brand. :( The only thing I cared about in an under-desk heater was that it wouldn't shut off periodically. I was blessed to have found this on my first try! I keep it on the low setting (but it doesn't shut off on medium or high either). The only one that will shut off is if you keep it on the thermostat setting, in which case it would shut off when the surrounding air reaches that temperature. But if you are like me, and want a constant stream of warmth running over your feet and legs in the office, this is PERFECT! IT's pretty quiet, though you do hear it. But it isn't noticeable. It actually raises the temperature in the whole room though, so if you have people around who don't like that, maybe keep that in mind. I love this heater. It looks great, too!

We got one of these last year and were so pleased we ordered another. It has various temperature settings (65-80) as well as oscillation if wanted. It automatically shuts off when the temperature in the room is obtained. While working on a duct project we have used it in a master bathroom as well as other larger rooms and it works well. Perfect for small spaces/single rooms. We do turn it off when leaving the house for any extended period but the auto temp detector does work properly. Space heaters are known safety risks so better to turn off when not home than be sorry.

This heater saved my orchid collection from damage during an unexpected freeze (in Florida!). I had two of these heaters going and they worked flawlessly. The temperature is selected by a digital setting and the heater will cycle power as needed to keep that temperature. This heater has a blower fan to circulate air and also oscillates so there were no hot/cold spots. I now have 3 of these.

Heats up the room quickly Great to use first thing in the morning when the house is cold. Sometimes I use it all day and I don't turn the hose heater up.

Es un buen calentador eléctrico pero tiene sus detalles. Para empezar el calentado únicamente se puede utilizar enchufado directamente a una toma de corriente, si tratas de conectarlo con un regulador o una extensión no funcionará o se puede descomponer. El calentador tiene distintas posibilidades dependiendo de que tanto calor deseas que genere. En cuanto al espacio que quieres que caliente cabe destacar que sólo puede calentar pequeñas áreas (es perfecto para baños o closets/armarios) y se puede programar (presionando un botón) para mantenerlo fijo o para que oscile expulsando aire caliente en múltiples direcciones. CONCLUSIÓN: buen calentador eléctrico para espacios chicos exclusivamente.

Es un producto bueno, cumple con el objetivo que es proporcionar temperatura a la. Habitación, lo único que he podido notar que se calienta mucho el cable es el único inconveniente

Pues hace más ruido de lo que creia, si calienta una habitación grande y ahorra la mayor energía posible, pero quemó una extensión y no se ve de material tan durable, espero si dure y siga funcionando bien porque me salió 5 veces más caro que uno que tengo y se le parece mucho.
