The vision of company founder Adolf Dassler has long become reality, and his corporate philosophy the guiding principle for successor generations. The idea was as simple as it was brilliant. Adi Dasslers aim was to provide every athlete with the best possible equipment. It all began in 1920, when Adi Dassler made his first shoes using the few materials available after the First World War. The adidas name dates back to 1948, deriving from the first two syllables of Adi Dasslers first and last name. One year later, Adi Dassler registered the Three Stripes as a trademark. After a period spanning almost 70 years, the Dassler Family withdrew from the company in 1989, and the enterprise was transformed into a corporation ("Aktiengesellschaft"). French-born Robert Louis-Dreyfus was Chairman of the Executive Board from April 1993 to March 2001. It was he who initiated adidas flotation on the stock market in November 1995. adidas--a name that stands for competence in all sectors of sport around the globe. Today, the adidas product range extends from shoes, apparel and accessories for basketball, soccer, fitness and training to adventure, trail and golf.

Super Effective
I use electrical tape to hold my shin guards up usually until I got these. They work so well. My shinguards don’t move at all with them on. I’m super happy with the purchase and I will always be using them with my son as well.

great choice ! good quality !
My son has been using the Adidas soccer shin guard strap, and it has as per him its a great accessory. The durable material ensures a secure fit, keeping the shin guards in place throughout matches and pratice. The adjustable design offers flexibility for a personalized and comfortable fit. If you're looking for a trustworthy and sturdy strap, the Adidas soccer shin guard strap is a solid choice.

Good enough, but can come undone through the course of games
These straps are adequate. However I think they need to be thicker (wider top to bottom) and a little shorter (lengthwise) in order to really be effective. My daughter needs these to help keep her shinguards from slipping down and digging into her ankles.I got these bc most of what she wears is adidas. But I realized after one practice, that these are too thin and too long. They stayed fastened where the velcro connects, but the other end that was (closest to her leg) came undone and was just flapping around. Were it a game, another player (or my daughter) would have stepped on the trailing end and the strap would have come off.I'm going to go back to a thicker/shorter strap. Nike makes a good one, that I will try again.

Strap on outside of socks to secure soccer shin guards
I use the strap on the bottom of the soccer shin guard. The shin guard is underneath my socks and this strap goes on the outside of the sock. Sometimes I just use one on each leg. For a more secure hold, I sometimes use two on each leg. I use this instead of tape, which can be tedious to put on and take off.

Very versatile
Fits around many different legs and helps keep shin guards in place. Highly recommend.

Perfect
I used medical tape in high school and for the past few years I have been using the cheap-quality electrical tape, which worked OK but it was very cheap (under $1 a roll). A friend gave me a pair of "stays" by some random brand - they were thick (maybe 2" wide) and were great but I felt they were too thick to work properly unless I put them 100% below my shin guard, which wouldn't fit above my shoe. Then I found the addidas straps and had to try them (even at $11 it was worth the risk of not being completely happy). I am 100% happy with these. They are a rubbery/elastic material so you can adjust the tightness to your preference. They are also thin enough to act just like tape. They also will Velcro to any part of the strap (instead of some items only having a designated "stick area" this works at any place). As an added bonus, you get 4 straps so if you are like me and want to put one both above and below the guard, you have a complete set.

Great for keeping your shin guards in place
As someone who plays soccer a number of times a week, I've always been meddling with my shin guards, socks, shin guard sleeves, tape etc... in order to find the perfect combination to keep my shin guards in place while not being too annoying.I think I have found a permanent solution with the Adidas shin guard straps. I played my first game with them last night and they were easy to strap on, stayed put the entire game, didn't cut off circulation and were easy to remove. I'm not sure I could have asked for anything more. I haven't played in poor weather conditions or put them through the wash to see how they hold up but my initial impression has been extremely positive. Compared to tape, I'd say they are superior in application time, adhesive strength and removal and they help my shin guards exactly in place when I was playing.
