My family got really sick of eating squash last summer
Moved into a new home at the end of February 2020. Covid hit and I had a lot of time on my hands as well as two teens and an elderly mother living with me. So, I spent a lot of time in the backyard. While not the prettiest garden, my focus was on getting food out of it to feed my family. I've grown squash, cucumbers and peppers before but never with this much success. I mixed the granular fertilizers in with the soil which helped but I also made liquid fertilizer from it which showed a quick boost for the plants. 1 cup fertilizer to 1 gallon of dechlorinated water and let sit for at least 24 hours. I'd do a 5 gallon bucket at a time with a paint strainer in the bucket of water before adding the fertilizer. I could then just pull the bag out and turn it around to squeeze any remaining water out of it. The leftover solid waste gets mixed in with soil or compost but the leftover brown, smelly water is the gold. I stir before use but mix 1 cup of the liquid to 1 gallon of water and use it feed the plants once a week, maybe once every two weeks depending on their current production and health. Never tried as a foliar feed as I wouldn't want to burn them but my goodness they love the stuff at the roots. 48 hours after feeding and I have budded flowers opening on my squash plants. They love it! Last pic was the last harvest at the end of the summer of 2020 when everyone, including friends/family/neighbors, were sick of squash, cucumbers and eggplant. I roasted all of the last of the veggies, then added them to a pot with veggie stock, used an immersion blender and made some amazing roasted vegetable soup! Just ate the last jar that was in the freezer and that is what prompted me to write this review. I am gearing up for this year already, Jobe's fertilizer in hand!

THIS STUFF WORKS
Jobe’s Organics Granular Plant Food works! My outdoor shrubs and trees perk right on up. The blooms appear to be more colorful and vigorous too. Yes, I admit, the stuff is pungent, but quite tame if you compare it with the raw stuff. And anyone who has ever worked with raw manure will tell you this — I mean actually seeing guys shoveling the stuff into a wheelbarrow and then shoveling it up onto that manure spreader (horse and cow and pig and chicken). Sure, of course it’ll give your indoor space an air of specialty, but I’m convinced that this Jobe’s stuff is the real McCoy. It will, as the stuff works its magic, give your outdoor and indoor garden an air of legitimacy. Now I do understand that some of my plants may not be use to the sudden uptick in the nutrition and all, so I just put less (gradual like). I’ve bought two 15 pounders of this stuff and I’m telling you they go pretty fast (using the right amounts and all). This granular stuff is easy to use and easy to handle. The granules are kind of friable, smallish, darkish green and it has a pungent smell to it. Will I recommend this to my friends or anyone else? I definitely will, simply because I can see that this Jobe stuff works. Although pricey, I’m thinking about reordering some more. Btw, it doesn’t take all that long for this Jobe stuff to kick in.

Great organic granular fertilizer, spreads well on lawn
This is great organic granular fertilizer. Works great on my lawn with a hand crank handheld spreader. I particularly get it for being granular so works great with spreader, and doesn't send out a cloud of dust.Haven't used it much on general plants.

I can't complain
For the price and ease of use (I use a latex glove to grab a pinch of the granules and insert a bit into the ground near each plant) I would say this is a good option for anyone looking.

Quickly promotes lush growth.
This review is for Jobe’s Organics granulated all-purpose plant food, 16 lb bag. I have been trying to grow flowering perennials, herbs, vegetables, and fruit here for 5 years. The flowers, vegetables and herbs are in pots and raised beds. I compost food and some yard waste. I have struggled with most of the raised beds and pots to get vigorous, lush growth. This summer I tried different organic potting soils, added compost, worm castings, another brand of organic fertilizer, and azomite. I would get a bit of response in some containers, but nothing lasting. I searched for organic, pelleted fertilizer and decided to try Job’s. The package arrived quickly. I set it in the outside porch for a few days and possums or raccoons tore into the bag, so I concur that animals are attracted to it as other reviewers have described. Our cats were not interested. I transferred the fertilizer to a plastic, lidded container for storage as I do with all fertilizers. The product is a perfect consistency, small pellets that are easy to scoop and spread (unlike the other pelleted organic fertlizer I bought that had large pellets that were disintegrating). I applied a small amount to various pots and beds. My basil plants that were barely growing for months suddenly sprang to life with new growth and big leaves. Geraniums that were not growing and stopped flowering after I repotted them similarly greened up and started flowering. The sickly catnip turned a deep green. The pathetic Nasturtiums greened up and started flowering again. I have seen no evidence of burning as I have experienced with some fertilizers. I am really pleased with this fertilizer. I will definitely buy more. I hope Jobe’s doesn’t change the product. It is great the way it is. I would prefer it be packaged in a paper bag, as I am trying to reduce waste, especially single-use plastics.

We all need some fertilizer
We garden, we can ,freeze dry, dehydrate and freeze what we grow. so we try for as natural as possible. and sometimes besides compost you just need some extra garden help . Prices go up or the item isn't available We would buy and use again

Jobes is the best stuff on the market
Jobs is fantastic. My mother used it for years and since buying my home, I have tried it out and will not use anything else. It is amazing. I have tried other things, and I will always go back to Jobes. Turf Grass is lush thicker greener, healthier just amazing

Product leaked due to cut in bag
You need to know that because this is an organic fertilizer, it stinks. So once the bag is opened, that smell is going to leak out. My bag had a pretty large slit in it, so the product leaked out into the smaller box it was in, the larger shipping box from Amazon, and even out of that box. So now I have stinky fertilizer in my foyer. I hope it’s good for my plants, because It certainly isn’t good for my house.
