WOW!!!!
WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! My 10 year old son who playโs on a travel baseball and little league received this as a gift. His first hit was a frozen rope down the line for a double. His second at bat was a blast to centre field. The fence is 250 feet and the ball went 280!! Trust me we have played a lot of baseball and this bat is all that and a bag of chips!! To tell you how impressive the bat is the team we were facing went out that night and purchased each kid the same bat!! I can tell you that the ball JUMPS OFF the bat! The most important thing to remember is you need a good stroke to make the bat work. If your child is only playing the game for the hotdog and juice box that they might receive at the end of the game I would suggest you save your hard earned money. This bat is for the kid that lives and dies for baseball.

This bat is legit
My son who is 10 is using this bat. I have seen some improvement in his distance, however, its highly dependent on hitting off the sweet spot. A number of kids are also using the same bat in our league and I see the same thing. You get really good pop if you make contact in the sweet spot, but otherwise it seems like its a little dead. Yes.... this is pretty normal, but the sweetspot is not so generous. I have seen good contact slightly off the sweet spot but the ball seems to just die. With that being said, I will still take the 'dead balls' on occasion with the distance it provides when proper contact is made

Great Bat, But Over Priced
Overall, this is a great bat. I'm not sure my 8 yo hit any better (BA or OBP) with it, but there were hits that seemed totally effortless with the ball going far and fast off the bat. A bat is only as good as the individual swinging it with proper technique and speed/power. My only complaint is the price, as it is with all high end bats. I'm sure this time next year when the newest version/style is released, this bat will still be available with a significant price drop.

Amazing Pop!
OMG, I never ever thought I would say a bat matters. I always thought it was the kid. Well I'm saying this bat made my 10 year old hit the ball almost out of the park 3 times on a majors field. Amazing what pop it has. Whether it's his imagination or the actual pop of the bat I gave it 5 stars!!!! Yes, I don't know a lot about actual composition and sweet spots but this bat works for my son who plays 10U and plays up for for rec to the Majors. Definitely worth it!!!

Did not think this was worth it. Totally wrong.
My son wanted this bat because a boy on this 12U team had one and was routinely hitting the ball out. My son already had the Easton black and yellow bat (I assume the last generation) which he bought with his own money. I kept telling him, "It's not the bat, it's the batter." Halfway through the season, I told him I would pay for 1/2 if he paid for the other half. The first game he used it, he one-hopped the fence and the second game, he crushed a pitch over the fence. I really hate to admit it, but the bat is amazing...and apparently gets better as it gets broken in. I've never seen a ball pop off of a bat like it does this one.

Great bat but already cracked and Its not even two months
I purchased this bat Late March for my son's 10 birthday; the excitement of finally having this bat was priceless. We have done everything by the book with this bat, proper care and cleaning. He has only played a few games and I noticed that its already cracked at the barrel. I am extremely disappointed with this product and customer service at Amazon.

If I were you I would get the 2013 xl1. I have both the bats and I like my xl1 better. When I make solid contact with it the ball goes 250 ft. With the make your lucky to get 150. I believe the is a better bat for the money and that's the xl1. don't buy this its a waste of money for the performance

Great bat! Love it!
My son loves this bat! Several kids on his team also use it. Glad we waited a few months to get it, the bat hasn't changed but the price went way down. I wasn't going to spend this much on a bat, so son saved up his own money to buy it himself, because he wanted it so badly. His performance with this bat is good, but he was hitting before.
