This is the best mascara I have been using. It does not clump and coats my eyelashes evenly. I like the brush which allow for smudge free application. Comes in waterproof or regular where as the water proof coats $10 more than the non water proof😏

Love Maybelline New York Define-A-Lash lengthening Washable Mascara. I have used this product for several years and when I have a notion to try others, I come back to this one. I like it because it comes out cleanly, does not over coat the lash or leave clumps. I use it daily and find the tube lasts a good long time compared to others I've tried. I also like this product because it coats the lash in a natural way rather than having thick, unnatural lashes. If natural is what you are looking for, this is your product.

Really doesn’t add length or thickness. Very hard to wash off.

I’ve literally been using this brand of mascara for over a decade. I’ve tried others and always go back to this one. The brush is nice and fine and it really elongates my lashes. People always ask what mascara I use because my lashes look so long and separated, never clumpy. I’ll probably never stray from it and hope they keep making it forever.

I have been wearing Maybeline Define A-Line Mascara in black from the first time I tried it and that was many years ago. Trying other brands is just a waist of time. I can't wait to get back to the ONLY ONE that will not bunch up, looks clean and separated. And comes off with soap and water. Maybelline, please don't stop making this Mascara. It is THE BEST PRODUCT YOU SELL!!! And other mascaras are an instant waist of time.

I’ve tried so many mascaras and this one is superb. I don’t know what it is, but it makes my lashes look perfect. The brush is great and it doesn’t cause lumps. Great every day mascara and washes off well.

Ok but nothing special. One pass might avoid clumps, but second required a lash comb to achieve the separation wanted and remove clumps - that produced major flaking under eyes and cheek area. The brush was not thinly stategic which might avoid too much product deposit resulting in clumps ( or would some call it volume?) yet it wasn't as dense as some Ive tried that were a total disaster clump wise. It also was moderately harder to remove than anticipated. All manageable but not what Im looking for.
