Vinyl Mattress Protector 6 Gauge - Zippered (9" depth) Queen Size

I'm with everyone here who had trouble getting the cover onto the box springs (as opposed to a mattress) and even with great care wound up with one small hole and a big hole in the corner where the zipper would normally zip closed. My zipper closed up until the point where it came loose from the vinyl for about 3 inches. It took two of us (my husband helped) with a pretty good struggle to get this thing on. I would have never gotten it on or zipped by myself. But I'll keep it, I guess. It suits my purposes of keeping the little cat from using my mattress fabric for claw exercise. But if I really needed something for durable wear, it would not be this. Buy a heavier gauge vinyl for sure and probably some other brand. I would have to agree that this is pretty much junk. I'm giving it two stars for no particular reason because I've only had it for one day and don't have any idea how long it will last or how annoying it will be. I relied on the better reviews before I purchased this, but I'm not sure they are reliable this time. Read all of the reviews before you decide to buy this.

I buy these every couple of months, I have one last at least 2 months before I get any rips in it. I do notice they are rather thin and flimsy, but hey, they do their job for at least a little while. They have a 2 year warranty on them, or so the description here claims (whether it is true or not I haven't a clue, this is the first time in a year that I've noticed that). Anyways, they hold up for a minimum of 2 months for me, sometimes I can get more out of them than that (especially if it rips on one side and I flip the mattress over, then I can usually get another month or 2 out of it before it is completely useless). Next time I order, though, I'm gonna get a couple of them so I'll always have an extra stored away just in case of an emergency.

This is a great item. Bought it to protect mattress from a sweaty hubby and a kindergartener who occasionally wants to sleep in mommy's bed but is still working on staying dry all night. Was concerned I would have trouble because our mattress is a double pillow top and is extremely thick, but cover fit perfectly. It did tear a tiny bit but it's because we yanked it too hard when putting it on...so it's not so good for anything more than to protect your mattress. Even with the tiny tear (which we taped up) I am super happy with this product. Makes no noise at all.

I purchased two of these for my mattress and box spring during our last move. They did a decent job of protecting them from dirt and moisture during the move. However, they did get torn as we were moving them out of the truck and into the apartment, so make sure that no one drags the mattresses, even on smooth floors. Also make sure you measure your mattress, these were a very snug fit on mine, I probably could have used another inch.

It took two of us though to be able to easily fit it in but it fit in smoothly.Bought it about a month ago and haven't had any issues with it yet.I used it for my box and not my mattress though so I can't say if it will be loud when you sleep or heat up (so I gave it 4 stars).As some reviewers suggested, I put paper towels on the bed frame so it won't tear the vinyl.

I bought these online thinking they were going to be different than the ones I buy around where I live for $5.00. Boy was I wrong..I can buy these for $5.00 (the same exact product) in a store around where I live. This breaks easily..if you have kids and they jump on the bed, forget about it, they will rip. I bought two of these thinking they were going to be different than the ones they sell around my way.When me and my husband were putting this on our mattress (I realized I had been ripped off, but didn't want to endure the hassle of sending it back to the seller) - it ripped. The zipper broke (mind you we were being extra careful) and there's a hole on the other side of it. Don't waste your money on this..it's not worth it!I don't know if the rest of these reviews are fake or unaware that you can get this product 10x cheaper elsewhere! Horrible quality.

This is a really light product and it tore while I was trying to get it to fit my mattress. Once on, it was fine and fulfilled its purpose, but getting it on wasn't easy (for full disclosure I was doing this alone...having two people would have been more practical and helpful). A small tug and the plastic tore, i still used it but I wouldn't buy again.

The product arrived on time. I bought it to prevent my mattress from getting infested with bedbugs, and looks like its serving the purpose. It does not make any noise while moving on the bed which is great. However, i find the material a little flimsy, and it tends to tear while sngky fitting onto the mattress, so take ultra care, or be ready to tape the tear.
