Great Fantastic - Love this scope
I spent a LONG time looking at scopes. Nightforce, Leupold, Vortex, Nikon; contacting vendors and reading and watching Youtube, the selection is huge. After meeting with one of the techs at the Leupold Beaverton, Oregon headquarters and discussing my particular needs I decided on this scope. Clear optics, great reticle, and the quality is without question. I am using a Nightforce mount and that too is a great product.Best of luck in your hunt for a scope; this one fits my needs to a tee.

So disappointed
I should have liked this scope very much, but two problems may make me get rid of it.1) The description is not true, both on Amazon and Leupolds web site, you can NOT bypass the zero stop to take advantage of the over 40 mils of adjustment. Per Leupold, that is not available on the 1.1-8x version and can’t be retrofitted. So I have this huge 34mm tube with a grand total of 10 mils of elevation adjustment.2) The M-TMR reticle is only half as big as all other mil dot reticles. +/- 2.5 mils instead of +/- 5 mils. I didn’t notice the little “2” in the reticle drawing and falsely assumed it had a standard mil dot range. Also, the .2 mil area of the reticle is not illuminated so dim light ranging becomes problematic. A standard TMR reticle in the FFP, illuminated would have been very much superior.I have wanted this scope for a long time based on what I have read about it. I can’t tell you how disappointed I am with it. How could Leupold take what could have been a great scope and use substandard reticles and turrets?I would send it back but EuroOptic ltd has a 20% ($600) restocking fee I didn’t know about, surprise! This is if the scope looks like it was mounted, and since I put some marks on the tube trying to get the zero bypass to work, I’m screwed.
