How much caffeine in a cup?

this is loose leaf yerba. it's meant to be drunk through a special straw. you can watch videos of preparation and drinking on youtube. if you want a cup of mate, i suggest looking for mate cocido. that comes in bags like tea. You can look up caffeine comparisons online. I have but don't remember the exact milligrams. it is less than black tea which is about a third of coffee. I'm not sure how the 'cocido' affects the caffeine.

Most common brands Rosamonte and Canarias etc.., have fine powder, so to avoid strainer clogging you may better put in jar and shake it well then you will find the powder remain in the bottom.
