FootFitter Signature Regular Shoe Shine Brush, 2 Brush Set

After looking for a horsehair brush and reading many reviews I decided on purchasing this particular brush, in part because it was "Made in Germany." If you want a product made in Germany this is not the one for you. It has a very visible "Made in Brazil" stamped on the top with the brand name "Star." The quality looks ok but the seller's false advertising has annoyed me.

The brushes has thick and soft horse hair bristles, beautiful stain handles. Feels like quality brushes. A little shedding of hairs are normal, like all horsehair brushes. Will purchase more brushes from Footfitters.

Only used 2 times so far. Appears to be a very high quality brush. Hopefully it will last for many years.

The brush hair quality is nice and it is doing the job. However after shining my shoe, I have to use a hand vacuum to pick up the hairs form this brush. I have a feeling that this brush may go bald soon.... :). I have an another brush which I purchased in India 20 years before and I am still using it, it is working perfect without loosing the hairs from the brush.

The product was advertised as Made in Germany. I received mine as Made in Israel and after one use, I saw few brushes fall off already. I am quite disappointed because I wanted a German made one that is long lasting.

I bought this to polish some clay sculptures that I'd applied wood wax to, so not really its intended use of shining shoes, but it worked pretty well anyway. It had a bit of a drawback, though, in that quite a few more hairs fell out of it than I would have expected. Still, overall I'm pretty happy with it.

I couldn't find a brush this nice locally. The size is perfect. The bristles are not intended to knock-off caked mud. This is a shoe shining brush. Well made.
