Entirely Stainless - Live in Florida and the valve is outside. The old valve was a gate valve the internal thread snapped and the gate fell to the closed position the old one was not properly "exercised" through the years- and gate valves are horrible valves for this application- This was a new house to me. All valves in your home should be opened and closed from time to time because they get lime, rust and calcium build up. Anyway, This is an American made high quality valve and for the money was awesome. I re-plumbled the copper and plastic involved coming out of the ground. DON"T PAINT IT. This is a heavy duty valve and will outlast your house and in an emergency you can instantly shut your water off.

Purchased for commercial fryer in November of 2017 to replace the originals that started leaking within a year. As of this writing, they are still operating normally and no leaks! Our fryers operate at 350 degrees Fahrenheit and are on for about 12 hours each day. The oil is emptied through the valve at least once daily. We definitely will purchase again if needed for our fryers.

This is the answer to the leaky faucet problem. I have had two brass faucets from the hardware store completely fail on me. The first one was the regular "Made in China" brass faucet. It corroded from the inside out. Leaked everywhere. I went to the hardware store and bought the $30 "Made in USA" faucet next. Within a year, it developed a large crack right through the side of the faucet. It sprayed water everywhere. I went back to the hardware store to find a better replacement. I could not find anything better than the cheap brass faucet. Thank goodness for Amazon. This faucet is made from Stainless steel. It looks very well made. So far, no leaks and I don't anticipate any in the future.

Super lil valve. Priced actually at Wholesale pricing. The threads on SS items have a different appearance than brass as there is some reflection and SS will thread harder. Must use TFE tape on this and all SS connections that are threaded. I put a "cone" pressure head on outgoing end. Used a MPT x MHT adapter. Super value and has no marks on it as of yet.

I ordered the 1/2 inch, was sent 3/4. Filed the return, they said they would send the correct one, sent another 3/4. I wasn't going to keep trying to so did a full return and ordered from another vendor. I've used Duda's products and they're great but I'm not having luck with these ball valves. The quality of the ball valves themselves seemed great, but I can't use the wrong size.

Very high quality, works great. Note this is stainless, so there is a special type of plumbers tape with PTFE in 4.3 mil thickness made by Gasoila made for stainless to stainless fittings to prevent binding. I have a Flextron RTGC-YC-34-36P flexible stainless hose connected to this and use it for the gas input into a tankless water heater.

So far, a well constructed valve at reasonable price. It was a little stiff out of the box, but once I put it into service it became easier to turn while still maintaining a descent drag. I will probably buy this again in the future.

This product fit well with my needs. I give it 5 stars even though I needed to go to the local lowes store to pick up up some irrigation piping and fittings to use it to fit my needs. If you're wondering what those were, it was to use this as a shut off valve for a 55 gallon water barrel. Full port, maximum pressure in a gravity system. Excellent product. Would and will order again if I need another
