Morgan & Mikhail's Clinical Anesthesiology

This is simply a revamped Morgan compared to the last one. Mostly everything is in color, more bold points made throughout each chapter, but the same easy to follow layout, and more logically organized. Still missing some of the little things like where the PISS pins are located, and they took out some of the arterial line curves and some other little things that I can't remember during my speed reading of the book that irked me (just adding all the tiny details would have made it a more comprehensive book). Other than that they added a chapter on perioperative management, and a whole section on periop care (mostly reorganized chapters that already existed and added I think about 3 more), separated neurosurgery from people with neurological/psychiatric diseases, and overall added over 200 more pages. It's a good remodel, same good foundation, with some of the new medications and technological advances in the field of anesthesia. Would definitely recommend it, especially for people that like visual stimulation while they are studying.

when compared to other Anesthesia books, this one tops them all. Tons of pictures (esp for regional), simplified descriptions, straight forward, and minimal emphasis on bizarre rat studies! It was a great studying tool for the boards!

This was my go-to book in anesthesia school. I've long waited for an updated version, and even now that I'm in practice, I bought the newest copy. I had it spiral bound at FedEx Office for a couple bucks, which I highly recommend anyone doing. This was thicker than the previous edition, so they had to split it into two books. It makes it easy to lie flat and keep the book open to the page you're reading. Lots of updated color pictures in this book. I intend to slowly read through the chapters that interest me as a refresher for the "book stuff" that I no longer can easily recall. I remember my profs saying we'd be the "smartest" the day we took boards, and that definitely is the case. I believe I am a strong practitioner, and definitely don't want to lose all the minutia that I once knew like the back of my hand.

Product arrived in an excellent condition, As good as new. Everything is intact; no adhered or missing pages. The book itself is written in a very clear and systematically ordered manner. It is my the book i go to when I have to study a related subject.

Morgan and Mikhail is a very practical read for the beginning anesthesiologist. It has the information necessary and is not encumbered by excess statistics and pathyphysiology. The topics are important. The font and graphics are simple and deliver the information clearly.

There are a few introductory anesthesiology textbooks that are commonly read, and this is one of them. It's written in a surprisingly readable style, which is more than I can say for a lot of other textbooks. Some people complain that it isn't in depth enough, but that really does not seem to be the goal of this book. For depth, look elsewhere, but for an easy to read intro to the field, look here.

Once again these authers put out a great book i have worked in anaesthesia for over twenty years and still buy a new book every three years to keep up dated this bok is up to date with new and on going anaesthesia protocols. great book for students and older anaesthetic nurses, techics and doctors,

Forget all those books where you read a lot of pages and you never understand. Forget all those books where you read a lot of paragraphs and the author dont let you arrive at any conclusion. The books are to learn and you will with Morgan and Mikhail's Clinical Anesthesiology! I am a physician who is doing an anesthesiology residency program. I recommend with ten stars (if it were possible) this book.

Na minha opinião é o melhor custo benefício, além de ser o mais atual e ainda com a possibilidade da portabilidade, seja pelo tablet ou pelo próprio Kindle. Uma companhia inestimável para os plantões. Recomendo fortemente!

Para empezar la anestesia es un libro excelente, la nueva edicion esta mucho mas clara que ediciones anteriores y con las actualizaciones necesarias. Ademas, el precio en amazon el mejor.

Ideal book for futur RT or anesthesiologist

The book: I've only skimmed it so far, but the writing is clear and concise, and the layout appeals to me (always a question of personal taste). The chapter on pharmacology is especially nice. My first impression is that this is a comprehensive resource for medical students, who have a soft spot for anesthesiology and are interested in the anaesthesiologist’s workplace and everyday challenges. As for the seller: Delivery prompt; package arrived even earlier than expected. The book's condition was graded as "very good", but I'd go as far as labeling it "as good as new". Definitely recommend the seller.
