Smucker's Magic Shell Ice Cream Topping, Chocolate Flavor, 7.25 Ounce (Pack of 8)

The product is fine. Tastes good, changes to shell pretty quickly. Pop your bow in the freezer for a minute or two after you pour the chocolate if you really want a nice shell to set. This is NOT a 12-pack. I knew it wasn’t based on the price (the price is good for 1!), but the title is completely incorrect.

I first purchased this topping at another in-store outlet, and was buying three bottles at a time. That would last me about 2 to 2 1/2 months. Then I would have to drive out of my way to buy it at the in-store outlet. I use it on my oatmeal, but especially like to put it on microwave popcorn. I simply pop the popcorn and pour it into a large glass or other heat proof bowl then drizzle the topping over the popcorn..yum! I didn't find that many stores offered this product on their shelves. So, when I ran out last time, I looked on Amazon.com and, to no surprise, they offer a 12 pack! I was very pleased as they don't expire until 2017; they will probably last at least a year to a year and a half. I have tried other caramel toppings, but didn't care for the taste or texture. This is my favorite and I will continue to buy on Amazon.com; I haven't tried it on ice cream, but I am sure as other reviewers wrote, it adds a nice touch.

The picture on the product page says "12 pack". This is incorrect. You only get one bottle.

The product was all I imagined...the packaging was awful!! There were busted bottles which had leaked out into the box and all over the other bottles. It was embarrassing as I was going to give the case as a present....I very well couldn't with the outside of the box greasy and busted caramel topping. all over the other bottles.

I LOVE Magic She'll, bought it through subscribe and save and several of the bottles separated (the fudge from the oil) and/or are really thick. Tried suggestions on the back and it doesn't work. Did learn to store upside down and for some reason that helps.

Back when I was still eating sugar, this was one of my favorite treats. I loved the hard shell making ice cream seem like an ice cream bar. Unfortunately, I had to stop eating it. Anyone want 6 bottles of the stuff? :) Seriously, if you still eat sugar, this is good stuff.

Wife and I didn't even knew this existed until we finally paid attention to what products were actually on the shelves by the ice cream section at our local supermarket. We decided to try the salty pretzel, and wow, it did not disappoint! But at almost $6 per bottle, it seemed a bit overpriced even if it is magical. It's very easy to use. Just shake as instructed, pour, and you have a caramel shell over your ice cream! Sometimes the spout is not very efficient, the sauce comes out more like a dribble than a smooth pour. Can be annoying. But overall, we really enjoy this product with our sundaes. Luckily we have Amazon! We went with the caramel flavor (as it was the best value). I mean, at $1.98 per bottle, you really can't pass up on this deal. We ended up giving away a few bottles to our family (so that it doesn't all go to our waists), but we would most definitely purchase again once we run out!
