JJ Cole Caprice Diaper Bag, Aqua Radian

I bought this diaper bag before my 2nd child was born, to replace the one I used with my 1st (JJ Cole Mode diaper bag), which I didn't like so much (it was super cute, but too small inside and other design flaws). I have used the Caprice Bag now for 6 months, and I just LOVE it. First of all, it is so fashionable and cute--which is nice when it's the bag we moms have to carry everywhere! It can be held by either the handles or the included detachable shoulder strap. My favorite thing: it is so roomy inside! I can pack everything I need for baby (and even some stuff for my older child too) for an entire day trip--and I pack extras of everything--and it fits easy and still looks good too. The side pockets are really big--I can fit 2 water bottles in one pocket, even with the bag fully packed. I LOVE the front zipper pockets for things like wallet, phone, coupons, keys, etc.--just so nice and convenient when out shopping. The included changing mat in the back pocket is a nice big size, and (my favorite) is a little more padded on one side, like a pillow! Comfy...and good for remembering which side to put baby's head on each time! Another thing I really like about this bag is that it is PVC and phthalate free, which means it doesn't have that yucky vinyl smell to it, and more importantly is safe for baby and his things. I honestly don't have anything negative to say about the bag--and I'm usually a very picky person. I've had no trouble with quality; all the stitching is tight and looks good, nothing is coming apart, etc. I find it funny that some people have complained about the fact that the top flops over when it's empty--it's true that it doesn't have super stiff sides like a vinyl bag might, but I personally like the material's flexibility--it's easier to pack and fit more inside it that way. I don't ever notice a problem when it's packed. If you're only going on a short errand and need just a diaper or burp cloth, I suppose it could cause issues, but I personally just use a small handbag for times like that. For what it's made for--fitting a lot of stuff and looking cute!--it's a great buy. Tip--watch the price of this bag here on Amazon carefully. It's often listed for a VERY high price, kind of unrealistic. For example, at the time of this review, it's listed much higher than what I purchased it for. Check around to see what it's listed for on other sites first to make sure you're getting a good price for it here on Amazon.

I've had this bag for about two months and I love it! I did quite a bit of research before buying it because the bag I purchased before ended up falling apart a month later and I wanted something durable and functional. It holds quite a bit without being too bulky, the pockets are all really good sizes, and I like that it looks nice too. The wallet pocket is really handy, but I don't use the cell phone pocket much since I prefer to have it in one of the side pockets for easier access. The side pockets are so nice and big that I can fit my big water bottle in there with no problem. I do wish that there were a small zippered pocket on the inside (there's just four medium sized ones) but that's not a big deal at all. It seems really high quality and has held up well so far. Bottom line: I love this bag. Seems like a good balance between price and quality!

I recently purchased the Caprice bag after owning the JJ Cole Mode bag for 2 years. My lipstain pen leaked through one of the front pockets on my Mode bag and the stain could not be removed. I had researched quite a bit before I bought the Mode bag. So I considered what I liked about it and what I might like changed, did some research and bought the Caprice. Here's my pros and cons list: Pros: * I like the JJ Cole straps. I've used them for 2 years and they allow the bag to be securely attached to just about anything. * Considering my Mode bag held up through two years of abuse from two kids, I'm happy with the quality of JJ Cole. * The 4 inside pockets hold plenty and keep things from disappearing to the bottom. The Mode had two additional mesh pockets that the Caprice does not have. I didn't use these for much since they were small and attached to the other pockets, which made them steal each others space. * The Caprice has all zippered external pockets. This was the biggest issue I had with the Mode. The front snap pocket always came undone. Two of the pockets are good size. The top one I keep my smartphone with extended battery, keys and ChapStick. The bottom one fits my large zippered wallet easily. It has spaces for credit cards but I don't use them. * The bottle/cup pockets are huge and awesome! I can tote around both of my kids camelbak cups in 1 pocket and have the other pocket for a mommy cup. The pockets are insulated, which is nice. We live in Florida so I wouldn't expect them to keep milk cool in the summer but the water is noticeably cooler after a couple hours than without the insulation. * I like the size of the changing pad pocket. Its big enough to hold the pad but small enough to stay closed without a snap. I read some reviews that its not big or plush enough. My son is 22 months so I'm happy with just a clean barrier between him and a public changing table. * Like most bags I researched, this looks less "diaper bag-y". My husband can carry it without reservation. * The handles are sturdy and short. This works for me since I'm not tall and my husband, who prefers to carry the bag in hand as opposed to putting it on his shoulder like a purse. Cons: * The Mode had little buttons on the bottom, like a suitcase. It kept the fabric part of the bag from touching the ground. I wish they had kept this feature for the Caprice. * The 3rd external zippered pocket is really, really small. I have a PO Box key in it. Not much else would fit. * The large zippered pocket would have been easier to use if it had 2 zippers, so you could only unzip the top. Instead it unzips 3 sides to remove the contents, which can be messy.

I was very impressed when I received this bag! These days, everyone seems to be fine with paying hundreds of dollars for a stylish diaper bag... which I don't quite understand. This bag is very stylish yet practical at the same time, and the price -- wow, great!! I got this bag to carry all of the loot needed to care for my twins, and it fits a lot! It fits 4 bottles on the outside pockets (2 on each side), a ton of diapers, extra clothes, wipes and every other necessity... plus room for my stuff too. I also like how lightweight the bag is, which is important after you fill it up to the gills and still need to lug it around. It's very easy to do!

Love this diaper bag. It is lovely and fits absolutely everything I need and more! I haven't used a purse at all since I got it because the mom pocket fits all I need. I love how it has straps for the stroller as well. I never leave home without It!!

I love it. Roomy pockeys and plenty of them. I especially like the insulated pockets either side, I'm breastfeeding so I don't use them for baby bottles at the minute but they're big enough to fit a large sports bottle of water for me and I can fit 2 smaller juice or water bottles for my older 2 in the other one. Great compartments at the front for small things, handy for the phone and small things like lip balm/tissues etc. Plenty of room inside for baby's stuff and a few of mum's essentials so this is perfect for me. Something which was big enough and looked the part to double as a handbag for the non-baby essentials (purse, phone, lil balm, hairbrushes, snacks for older kids etc) is exactly what I wanted. The bag itself is good quality, I think it will be quite durable and yet it is a nice light material-it doesn't feel big or bulky. I wasn't sure if it came with a change mat as the description didn't specify but it does and also came with the hooks for the bar of the buggy so I was thrilled, and I got it at a fab price! I went for the black version as it will hopefully be easier to keep clean and I have a black buggy. It also looks less like a nappy bag I think, I could see myself using this as an overnight bag or a gym bag when my little one is older. Highly recommend it!

Está hermosa la pañalera. Es grande y cabe todo lo necesario para mi bebe. Al frente trae zipper y bolsas para guardar cosas personales como tarjetas, celular o dinero. Por dentro trae 4 bolsas y por fuera 2 bolsas termicas para los biberones. Tambien tiene la esponjita para cambiar el pañal y 2 ganchos para colgarla de la carriola o carrito de compras.

Me gusta su capacidad y los distintos bolsillos exteriores e interiores, también es muy fácil de desenganchar de la silla y cómoda de llevar suelto. El tejido exterior es muy sufrido.

Wunderschöne Wickeltasche, die schlicht und trotzdem verspielt ist - aber auch nach der Wickelzeit toll als Businesstasche oder für die Freizeit genutzt werden kann. Der Stauraum innen ist wirklich sehr groß. Toll sind auch die mitgelieferten Kinderwagenbefestigungen und die Wickelunterlage. Kann die Tasche nur weiterempfehlen :-) Wirkt sehr hochwertig und ist wunderschön!
