Does the job
It does what it's supposed to but the weight isn't as flexible as I'd like. It's hard to open and close.

Works very well for lakes
It is not made exactly like the picture so that drops it a point for me although normally it drops it to 1 star for me normally but this worked so well for me I am overlooking the false advertising. the floating part is weighted nicely and stays put nicely after deployed. So far I have only used it in 25 feet. So I will leave an update if over time it fails.

I'm not impressed. The weight on this marker is woefully undersized and the string is too lightweight. My first one drifted away after only 20 minutes of use.If you use this on a lake or other STILL water you might be OK, but for anything that has waves or current, look elsewhere. I threw it in the trash after the first outing.
