SpeedoMen's Mercury Splice Endurance Plus Brief Swimsuit

For reference, I have 37" hips, a 22" upper thigh (leg opening), a 30" waist, and got the 30" suit.Big fan of this suit. I'd like to focus on one aspect of this suit which really stands out: the cheek coverage. Real Talk Warning: I swam through high school, and wore the more traditional, bikini Speedo with the one inch side. The fabric covering my cheeks would always ride up, thong style, and the back was never high enough to cover the top of my crack. I haven't had that problem with this swimsuit. The longer side means that the fabric hugs your cheeks and stays taut along the upper thigh, while also coming up a little higher on the waist. That isn't to say the other style is defective or poorly designed, just that if you have a rounder derriere but still want to rock that unencumbered, "I can wear whatever I feel like" style, this is a great choice.Other than that, I know a lot of people have been saying that this suit fits a little small. I've found the sizing to be correct, according to my underwear size; in fact, I went a size up (32") with my more conservative Speedo square-leg (Endurance+, it should be the first result on Amazon if you search for it), and I wish I wouldn't have. After an hour or so of laps it doesn't leave marks at the leg holes or anything like that. Also, the fabric seems to be a little thicker than my other Speedo, which is only slightly older.

Fit my competitive swimmer really well which has been difficult with Speedo’s lately. He is a size 28 and some of them are marked as Youth and they come smaller... this one wasn’t at all!

First off, the fabric is awesome, well constructed and durable. Unfortunately, it's a very uncomfortable fit for my body type. I'm a true 34 waist (which is what I purchased) but I have a larger butt, and thicker soccer legs, so the legs sockets you were too tight, and the pouch area was uncomfortable. I returned them and went for the square leg (for my body type) however, I will probably go with the brief again but with a higher leg.

According to the size chart on amazon and on speedo he should wear a size 26, but we ordered up to a 28- it was still to small especially in the legs. We are going to order a size 30 (two sizes up) and see if that works.He is 12 and is 5'7" about 110 lbs.Quality of the item is nice- once we find the correct size we will order more

Fit is a little smaller than I expected but still a high quality speedo. It will stretch with use so I can't complain too much. Doesn't look as long as it does on the picture but I'm sure its my long legs more than anything!

I like the color and the style. However I am hesitant to use it in the swimming pool or in the hot tub. I've had other bathing suits from speedo and they all loose their color.
