Really Great Book
I thought this was a very interesting book. The range of movement and the targetted nature of many of the exercises and stretches was superb. I can see how these could be used to achieve realy weight loss.There were a lot of different positions covered. It wasn't just a series of exercises though and the chapter on breathing were very useful.I've been to a couple of yoga classes before but it never really clicked with me until I read this book - I almost feel like a new person!100% recommended.

Great Book !
This book was a great starting point. Well defined and easy to follow. It also does a good job explaining the benefits in a way that is easy to understand and is very encouraging to those who may think they would be unable to do yoga at all. If you have not dabbled into Yoga before, this book does a good job explaining a couple of poses that are good for weight loss and stress reduction and pictures of the poses are included, which was really helpful.

Not worth the time or money!!
Referrals to read guts of topics required the reader to access information from Amazon. A real rip off for any price.You can acquire Amazon information from Prime and bypass the feeling of being ripped off.

Short and informative. It gives a good overview and history. Can't beat the price. Great book for a great price.

Would have been better picking up a free leaflet on yoga from my ...
Glossy pamphlet that took under ten minutes to read and no doubt under an hour to write. When I got to the part that pointed out that stress is dangerous as it could link to smoking, drinking or gambling (no evidence offered except 'recent studies suggest') I realised that I'd been ripped off. Would have been better picking up a free leaflet on yoga from my local studio and would have learned more about weight loss and stress reduction from the posters in my GP surgery- do not bother. Complete waste of money.

Poor
A book for people who want to fool themselves, believing they're practicing yoga. Just a bunch of positions saying "this is good for this" and "this is good for that"; no deep view into the practice of yoga, its fundamentals or its phylosophy. Yoga is not a sport, it's a way of life and that's exactly this view this book lacks.
