Okay, so I don't make wine, but needed handy little items to better grip miniatures and model parts when painting and this item filled that need handily. I can push metal pins in with parts and actually be able to hold them whilst priming and painting. They also keep me from losing said small parts. Good time!

Ordered these for my next batch of wine. No problems bottling, corks worked fine using a floor corker. Will by these again.

I have been homebrewing wine for years. I always go with a #9 and never any issues with corks except this brand. For some reason this brand never goes down enough and leaves a piece of cork sticking out. I have tried this brand several time and I only have issues with this specific company of corks. I have a feeling that the dimensions are wrong. For wine many use corksize #8 or #9. #9 provides a better seal. A cork #10 is too big to fit properly. While this cork is mark as a size #9, it feels more like it is not manufactured properly and as a result it is larger than a #9 yet smaller than a #10. I would call it a # 9.25 as a result of being sligthy bulky the corks do not go all the way in and mushroom at the top. I will go with a different brand next time.

#9's are a standard for a reason. I've had no issues whatsoever with my bottles and it's been many weeks since I bottled them. Zero leakage or cork induced head injuries. I poured boiling water over them, let them sit for a few minutes before using them.

They may be a little more cost than the others on Amazon. But trust me, I've tried the cheaper ones and they are junk. These corks are excellent quality and fit. Highly recommended. Will purchase again! Update: Wow BSG what's with the price gouge? The price for 30 has over doubled since I first ordered from you. This is just ridiculous! Shame!
