A necessity in a good long size, but not for winter use!
One can never have too many zip ties. I use a lot of them in this longer size. On edit: Now that winter has come with sub-zero temperatures, I can tell you that these zip ties are worthless in the cold weather. They snap into pieces. They are fine for temporary uses in summer, spring, and fall, but for winter use, go to a supply place for utility workers to find ties that are rated for -20 F. I did!

Totally worthless, they snap if bent around a square item!
I bought these to hide a wire behind my gutters. Unfortunately bending them around the gutter causes them to break. I just could not believe it! I have actually had them snap in my fingers while tightening them! The plastic is just so brittle that bending it anywhere where it is scored just breaks the tie. These stink, I wish i could use stronger language to describe how bad they stink!

Great tie for light to medium use
Not the highest quality zip ties but they are good quality and great for the price. I will be purchasing these again. I used these for network cables with no issues.

Strong enough for trellis support? We'll find out...
I bought these to use as tie-downs to attach a 16' cattle panel to a metal conduit (EMT) trellis frame for my garden. This year I decided to add a vertical trellis in my garden to create more space. I was a bit concerned because of the weight of the cattle panel and the added weight (from cantaloupes and Red Crimson Watermelons). So far, so good. I criss-crossed the ties to the framework so it had a good strong connection with the panel. I think it will work well. If not, I'll have to go with metal hose clamps next year. I just love experimenting!

Don't pull to tight
They do the job, but either I am much stronger than I think or when pulling these zip ties tight with my 18" inch pythons I just to much to handle and snap they break. If just using to clean up electricle cords and make things a ltttle neater then they will be fine. But if you really need to hold something in place and need the zip tie as tight as possible you may what to have your child pull it tight.

Brittle
I really didn't think zip ties could be bad. But as other reviewers have said, these are junk. If all you are doing is bundling some wires together, they are fine. I opened the pack and took one out and it looked like a normal zip tie but as i grabbed it two inches from the end, it snapped. In some places, you can bend it without it breaking in other spots....snap. I gave it two stars because the price was right and it shipped fast. If I tried to sell 100 zip ties, then ship them UPS for $5.69, I'd lose money. Hell, you can't ship an empty package for $5.69. It's Friday night/ early Sat morning and I am on Amazon reviewing zip ties. Pretty sad.

cable ties are solid
They were just as advertised. Very thick. I used two of them to mount a star to my chimney for Christmas and they held up fine. I actually had to get off the roof to get a pair of scissors as I couldn't break them off.

Not much stronger than masking tape.
The product really deserves 1 star, but the supplier shipped very quickly so I gave them a break. The ties themselves are made from seems to be a fairly brittle plastic, and when cinching down they tend to break before they feel secure. I was insulating the water pipes under the house, and I got these ties to hold the foam wrap in place. After having the first five break I learned just how much, or should I say how little, tension to put on them. I'm aware of the limitations of plastic ties, I've used them for years. But these are just so prone to breaking when tightening it really limits what I'll use them for.

These are very low quality. They snap easily and can't be used for medium or heavy duty applications. Not recommended.
