Examples & Explanations: Conflict of Laws, Second Edition 2nd Edition

The class casebook was ridiculous - I stopped reading that the first week. From then on, I used this E&E as my textbook along with an outline I got from a classmate. This book is the reason I got an A! Half the time I felt like I had no idea what was going on in class, plus the class was full of very smart people - and yet I did well! (I'm definitely not the person people would have thought would finish at the top:) Not only that, the concepts really stuck with me since I did the E&E problems. If you stick with this book and really study it, you're going to do well in the class - I'm convinced of it!

As someone who has almost always used E + E extensively for any subject in which it is available, I have to say - this one stands out. It takes what can be incredibly dull and complicated material and instead makes it straightforward and engaging. In virtually every class, I sat there utterly confused as to what we were learning. But when I started using this book to prepare for the exam, I picked up the concepts almost instantly.The book is straightforward and engaging, and the examples and explanations really help clear up the ambiguities of the material.If you're taking Conflicts of Law, I highly, highly recommend this book.

Very helpful for those times during the semester where you find yourself wondering, why!? why did i sign up for this class!? Am I some kind of masochist? The answer to that question is of course yes, everyone in law school is. Back to the book, it was a great supplement to class and the reading and really helped me pull through some of the more vexing issues in this class.

This was a great supplement to our lectures. Of all the E&E's that I have bought, this one has been the most helpful and well worth the money.

The introductory summaries were very helpful. I wish I did a few more of the examples before the test, but the book did a good job outlining cases in the international law section.

This is the best E & E I've bought while in Iaw school, hands down. I would have bombed the class without it. Buy this
