Ice Chipper
I bought this for church. I tried to find an ice pick everywhere and found a regular one at a local hardware store. Someone had mentioned this style of ice pick, so when I found it I went ahead and ordered it. My son actually has an antique one in his apartment on display. We haven't actually used it yet but I believe it will come in very handy.JUST AN UPDATE:We've been using this at church since I bought it and we all love it. It is very heavy duty and chips our ice just like it's supposed to. This is the ice pick that we prefer. The prongs cover more of the ice area to be broken up and they are short enough that they don't slide through the ice and into the bowl, sink,or whatever we have the ice on to chip. Seems to be more control with this chipper.

Why didn't we get this a year ago??
We have a countertop ice maker, but choose to get a full bucket of ice made, then put it in our freezer instead of running the machine all the time. Of course, the ice is "wet" when we put it in and it freezes together. This little pick chops it up a lot more quickly than the knife we used to use!! Haha :) Probably safer too!Wish we'd gotten it when we first got the ice maker. A+++++

Works perfect !!!
Been wanting one similar to the one my parents had YEARS ago. Would be awesome if the teeth were bent some like a rake but I will be happy with this one.

Use mine for a meat tenderizer.
I ground down the tines down and use mine to tenderize my steaks. I love using it for that.
