Comfy Control Dog Harness - As Seen on TV

The first time I purchased this product was at my local Rite-aid. it fit my silky terrier perfectly, was not poorly made or stretchy .after so many washes the Velcro does wear out. I purchased the second one on amazon last year. I saw the poor reviews and couldn't understand why. still when the harness came it was exactly the same as the first one I purchased.last week I ordered a new one on amazon But from a different seller. it never occurred to me that if I was looking at the same photo of the product and reading the same description that I would receive something totally different from the original product.it was made with different fabric for the binding and a different mesh. it was too big and could not be adjusted because the Velcro area was so poorly duplicated. the packaging was the only thing that was the same as my last 2 purchases.I have requested a refund from seller

I love this little harness. It is easy to step-in, which I prefer to putting one over the head. It is lightweight, which is great for my little Lhasa who is rather hairy and hot most of the time. My dog's weight has varied from 15-17 lbs, and it fits him a little tight at his top weight when his hair is long - but when his hair is trimmed, it fits fine. It is velcro adjustable for tightness. It seems flimsy, but it is really durable, and we have used the heck out of it. If it wears out or breaks, no problem because the price is so good we can get another. It comes with a little leash that works great too - I like that it is also light in weight compared to my other leash. I really like that the harness is mesh, and his skin can breathe. Great product - arrived timely and well packaged. Thank you!Update 2/11/2013 - works good when my dogs hair is clipped short - I've found that when his hair gets long- the harness kind of tangles up his hair and causes matting. So in winter - I am using another harness that is just a strappy kind of step in that doesn't interfere with his long hair.

Product was ordered before Christmas with an expected delivery date in mid-January. I disregarded negative reviews because .... People like to dump on products, maybe. What was I thinking? Delivery fee was more than product cost, but I thought, "Why not?" Let's give it a try.The REGISTERED MAIL [!!!] package was received mid-January. No other option for shipping. I unpacked the harness and it looked ok, except a loose thread on the end of one of the nylon straps. But, what kind of problem can that be? ... Let me tell you.Put it on my corgi and off we went a little dismayed that the velcro cinch is not effective, unlike another product we've used that looks very much like this one did. Those products were durable, so why be concerned?My corgi's first moderate tug on the leash unraveled the loose thread on one of the two nylon straps connecting the harness to the leash ... and opened both thin wire loops "securing" each harness strap to the leash ... with the clip on the end of the leash flopping to the ground followed a gentle tinkling sound as the the second of the two wire hoops hit the pavement, too! Without me uttering a word to the dog, she "froze" and looked up at me ... Well, at least that worked. Summary: Total failure of product in the first 5 minutes of use. Believe it.

My dog is 14 1/2 lbs, and it's hard to get a good fit. This one fit perfect, but started to fall apart after just a couple of weeks. The strap that comes up on one side, that you connect to the leash, tore right off the harness. When that happened, the only thing holding it together was the velcro strap that connects the harness over the dogs back. If the dog had pulled hard enough, she could have gotten away. I wouldn't trust this harness out where a dog could get away and run out in the roadway. Too dangerous, as it is cheaply made. Not worth taking a chance with.

I have a very skinny foster dog that is missing his body and neck hair and I was looking for a harness that wasn't going to be spacious around his his body and that didn't have a lot of hard Clasps to go around him. I ordered the small (although I know the sheltie breed would prob need a med) and it fits him perfectly. I can see that the quality isn't the best, but he's old, walks slow, and he definitley does not pull, so it works perfectly for him.

Received my comfy control harness a week ago and it's working great for my 11LB dachshund mix puppy. She is just learning to walk on a leash and the harness allows me to correct her without fear of hurting her neck. It is pretty easy to put on but the trim gets folded over and sticks to the velcro sometimes. I like the security of having both the velcro and a strap with a clip holding it together.

Just received the harness. Many reviews warned of the cheapness but I didn't want to believe it. It feels like it's only valued at $1.00. You get what you pay for. The only good thing for me is that I didn't pay for shipping. I'm only commenting on the quality because I have not walked my yorkipoo with it yet. If I experience anything out of the ordinary I'll get back to you. For now, good luck to you.

I love the harness and so does our dog. However when I tried to get a new one just like the other one there was no way to identify the size and I ended up with two harnesses for small dogs that were really for tiny dogs. So, word to the wise. The small harnesses I bought were too small for my 16lb dog.
