Fit comments for other tall guys
Rating is based entirely on fit. I haven't used these pants on anything but a short test ride in dry conditions.I'm 6'4" and 200lbs. I don't wear a size medium in anything...expect these pants.I normally wear a size 33 waist and 36 inseam in pants. I tried the M, L, and XL in these pants. You only get 0.5 inches more length on the inseam for going up a size, but the waist get HUGE quickly. The XL was way too big. The L was big, but I could make it work. The M was a good size, but the 1 inch shorter inseam was noticeable from the XL.I plan to use these pants when I would also being using my overshoes. The overshoes I use come up high enough to close the gap. If I rode without overshoes there would be a big gap between the bottom of the pants and the start of the shoes that would just be covered by my socks. I wish they made a tall size.I use these overshoes: Endura Road OverShoes - Men's

Not bad in the right conditions
Well made pants but could use a bit more attention to design. They repel weather very well, not that breathable but that's understandable. They are definitely generously sized up high in the butt & thigh. They do taper at the lower leg, BUT I still had some fabric that would impact the crank, causing a small tear in the leg that became bigger over the course of the ride. The adjustable velcro strap at the ankle cuff is way too short, not allowing you to "cinch up" the ankle at all. You are limited to a short piece to attach to. What would make this pant better, would be an additional adjustable strap perhaps halfway up the calf to draw in the fabric at that point. That's where the excess fabric catches on the crank arm and tears. Also, pockets would be very nice. It really should be a staple in bicycling apparel now. Clothing without pockets is just a bad marketing choice in my opinion. Cyclists need options, many of them, depending on what ride faces them that day. If you were going to spend your hard earned $$ on 1 pair of pants, you need as many features as it can offer.

Pants
Normally wear a 34x36 jean, went with Large, waist fits fine, I think the length is a touch longer than I would like, but I haven't run into any problems with them (leg was zipped up and used the second velcro closure on the right leg...no snags, etc...).The whole WxB line seems very weather proof. They have an inner layer membrane that seems likely to keep most rain/water outside. However, like other reviewers a pocket or two would be kind of nice and with that membrane mentioned their breathability seems questionable. I think if you're using an inner tight for some moisture wicking you should be good, but on a warmer day it might run on the hotter side. I rode the other day in light rain and upper 40's with these and was comfortable (had a pair of shorts on underneath since I don't have a separate padded liner at this time and was a little warm in certain 'areas').

Keeps out cold weather
Great winter pants, when used with a barrier underneath. Without a barrier layer, I sweat like crazy. While overall I remain happy with this product, I must admit they ripped in the ankle area in the first week for some reason. I taped it from the inside to keep it from spreading, and will probably hit it with rubber cement for a permanent fix.During summer rains, this pant did not breathe as expected. My legs were as wet from perspiration as they would have been from the rain.Bottom line: not as breathable as advertised, quite capable of ripping, but they nonetheless remain my standby for cold or rainy commutes.

Not as robust as you would expect
I bought these to commute in. They do the job, but are thinner than you would expect. The interior ankles appear to have a patch to resist tearing, but the fabric is thin. I live in Tahoe, and when it gets down to around 0 - 10, you will need a heavy base layer with pants then these to be comfortable. If they had pockets maybe 4 Stars.

very good
Keeps my legs and pants dry on the commute to work. Also does a decent job keeping the freezing wind off me. No pockets, and zippers velcro around the ankles. Drawstring waist. I've tested it down to 34 degrees (with warm winter pants on underneath) and it did fine.I wipe them down with a wet washcloth or rinse in mild hand soap then hang dry, so far that's worked fine for these. Also sizing (waist in inches):Small: 29-31 inch Medium:31.5-34.5 Large:34.5-37.5 XL:37.5-41.5Had to get these off the website.I wear a 34 waist and the large is fairly roomy. if you're at the upper end I suggest ordering a size up.

Waterproof, but not breathable
Excellent rain pants and good for cool weather biking, but if it happens to be raining and warm you'll find your legs sticking to the insides of the pants. Adding a base layer to wick away sweat works, but who wants to add extra layers when you're already warm? I'll keep them around for cool, rainy winter days but I'm looking for other options now for handling warm weather rain.

Great cold weather pants
I have worn these a number of times now and with a pair of sweats underneath, I don't think there is any cold weather I couldn't be out in. They shed rain no problem. I rated them only 4 stars as I wish they had a pocket. I got around that by carrying a small fanny pack. I use them bicycling.
