I am obsessed with sun protection in extremely meticulous ways. I’m always that person wearing extreme SPF, even on cloudy days. When I discovered that there are umbrellas with UV protection, I knew I had to try one. This umbrella is phenomenal, and I use it year-round, even on the sunniest days, to protect myself from UV rays while walking around town. Pros: Sturdy and Compact: This umbrella is as compact as a standard portable umbrella but far more sturdy. It’s easy to carry around, fitting perfectly in my man bag or chest sling. Excellent UV Protection: The umbrella’s surface is extremely reflective, effectively blocking all UV rays when you’re underneath it. This feature is perfect for my usage, providing peace of mind during sunny days. Convenient Travel Case: The best part of this umbrella is the travel case. Unlike most umbrellas with frustrating sleeves, this one has a quarter-zip mechanism. It makes it extremely easy to unzip the cover, slip the umbrella in, and zip it up. This convenience takes the umbrella to the next level. Cons: Weight: If I had to point out a minor criticism, it would be that the umbrella could be slightly lighter. However, this is not a significant issue and doesn’t detract from its overall functionality. In summary, I can’t think of anything negative to say about this umbrella. It’s a fantastic product, perfect for anyone obsessed with sun protection like me. Highly recommended!

I was really pleased with the product on many levels. The pink colour is pretty and the fabric feels durable. The opening action is easy using the button on the handle, however it is harder to put down (I found pushing the handle against my body and pushing the top towards me worked best). I used it all day in very hot conditions at Alton Towers and it kept me cool under my personal shade and I had no sunburn issues to deal with (I did also use a single application sun cream). The only other slight downside was the weight which was a little heavier than I expected. Increased weight can be the trade off for a substantial brolly, though, so I am hoping this means it will last longer in windy conditions. I would recommend this product.

Lovely Umbrella. Used it in India. It was excellent protection from the midday sun and perfect in the rain. I had a lot of admirers of my umbrella. The opening and closing mechanism seems robust and was used a lot. I would recommend this umbrella

Highly recommend. I did umrah in the middle of the day in summer 43degrees! This product was excellent! I cant express enough. I had a cross body bag which it fitted in easily. I got back to the UK and had for the rainy days here too! It’s lightweight, it was sturdy in the winds, it looks so nice, easy to put up and fold down it has a cover, but i use a shoe bag to put it in when it was wet. Buy this!

I used this at the Paris Olympics where my friends envied me -- it provided shade on a scorching hot day. I bought it because it was extremely compact and light enough to drag it around while I move around the city. It provides UVF protection AND protects against the rain AND the white colour means it was complimentary with every outfit that I was wearing. Plan to buy this as a gift for friends who travel.

I should have tested this out before I went on my holiday to Malaysia. Tried to use it while there and it wouldn't stay open. Tried and tried and tried again. It refused to stay open. Had to buy a new one in Uniqlo over there. Waste of money.

Very flimsy, it flipped upside down the first time I used it. I’m returning it.

Finally found a solid quality travel umbrella that operates reliably and will handle both rain and UV/shade needs. It's not the smallest or lightest weight option, but honestly those did not work out for me, I tried. This umbrella functions solidly without being too big or bulky and based on my daughter's experience with the same model will hold up to actually use. Literally had two other brands arrive inoperable/broken directly out of the package.

The umbrella is lightweight, the button opens and closes the umbrella, which is great for people with carpal tunnel. You need to manually retract the umbrella to the base after closing it by pushing down on the top center of the umbrella. Keeps my wife cool in the sun and it’s easy for her to operate. It is compact and lightweight, she takes it everywhere on sunny days. The only downside is that the material for the snap tore and could be better made. Nevertheless, I would buy it again because, I have bought my wife a few UV blocking umbrellas from other companies and none worked as good as this one, nor were they this affordable, and all the others were too heavy for her to carry for an extended period of time. We highly recommend this one.
