Amazing stuff; taste is FINE! Cheaper than food!!!
There are some GREAT and thorough reviews on here, so I won't try to duplicate any of that. I think the taste is FINE; adding cinnamon and/or vanilla helps even more. My favorite is adding a heaping TB of unsweetened cocoa and two droppers of stevia. Just like a real chocolate shake. Looking at the ingredients you wouldn't guess that it's a magical concoction, but it's not your average meal replacement / protein drink. In my dieting travels I have figured out that trying to cut back on food quantity and type is very hard for me to maintain for long. Food makes me want more food and eating a ton of vegetables just doesn't satisfy anything. So, fasting with Almased is actually easier for me. Hunger, when you're on a liquid diet, just seems like a different kind of hunger. You KNOW there's no food coming so you drink more water or broth. Adding fiber to the shake is a good thing. I had noticed that Almased has almost no fiber, and I wondered about that. Fiber supplements are expensive, but fiber is important for feeling fuller and it helps with regularity on a restrictive diet. I use the 6 TB portion, which is a slightly rounded 1/3 cup measure (so much easier that way). So, I get four days out of a can -- only $7 a day. CHEAPER THAN THE COST OF FOOD! Good to keep in mind for those who said it's so expensive. If you get headaches, drink more fluids and enjoy that you're getting rid of toxins. It will pass. ***Edit 10/8/15 -- I'm almost two months in now. I lost 10 pounds during the liquid fasting days (only did that for 10 days, not 14). Weight loss has definitely slowed since adding in one meal. Disappointing, but I've learned better how to do this long term. First, for my one meal I eat what I want. Moderation on fats and portions (except veggies) is still important. But if slow and steady wins the race, that's better than crapping out by suffering through a sprint that you can't maintain. #2 -- I make the vegetable broth as they recommend. It's not so tasty or satisfying. I tried adding about 25% V8 low sodium vegetable juice to my cup of broth and it made a huge difference. Tastes good -- almost like tomato soup. BIG find for me. #3 -- Again, this stuff is cheaper than food! So, why not stay on it for as long as possible? No reason to think you have to lose as much weight as possible in a couple of months because of cost. Other diet plans (Nutri..., Weightwatchers, Atkins and the like) ALL get expensive after a while because of paying THEM and buying (sometimes) specialty foods. I did low carb for a long time (any restrictive diet gets tiresome at some point) and I loved that I could eat all the bacon and eggs I wanted. But ultimately, I stopped losing weight. I have tried everything! THIS is working for me and I can see my way to long term results.

Works wonders!
I absolutely LOVE this powder! It is such a good flavor and if you stick with it, you WILL lose weight! I am never feel hungry when I am on the plan and it helps manage my pre-diabetes with no agged sugars. Such a great product - I have used this for many years. I do feel it's worth its weight in gold, just have to be in the right mindset and really stick to a complete lifestyle change

Working for me
I have been using Almased for close to 2 months now, and while I'm not following their plan religiously, I have so far lost 12 lbs and still loosing. What's nice about this diet is you can make it your own, use it to fit your own needs. I did phase 1 for about 4 days. That first day was the hardest, but I was determined to work through it. I was hungry and low on energy. I ended up drinking 4 shakes a day instead of the recommended 3. I advise if this happens to anyone to drink the shakes with milk - it adds in calories and helps you feel sustained longer. I also made the mistake of purchasing pre-made vegetable broth, as I didn't want to spend the extra time making my own. Do yourself a favor and make your own - even the whole foods brand has an insane amount of sodium! I think I could have lost more weight. I'm still in phase 2, and happy with it. My breakfast shake is with soy milk, and my lunch is with water and cinnamon. I choose dinner as my meal just to make life easier at home with my husband. He isn't on the diet and this way we can still enjoy dinner together. I give this 5 stars, because Almased has really helped me overcome my love for junk-food. That phase 1 not only detoxified my body, but my mind as well. After day 3 I no longer wanted the unhealthy food I used to crave. If you are looking for long-term lifestyle changes, this stuff is for you. Also, as a plus I find the shakes to be delicious! Other commenters have criticized for the taste, and I think they must be making it wrong. Sure, Almased can get bland after a while, but using ice cold water makes the shake incredibly refreshing which helps me get past it. I have a blender bottle, no need for a full size blender as long as your pour the water first, oil, then Almased, it blends very well. Added bonus: it makes a great arm exercise!

Timely delivery, product working, even being used slightly different than product directions
UPDATED REVIEW: Still as happy as ever with Almased and am going to purchase more. Still satisfied with taste and blending capabilities. MOST satisfied that using this in conjuction with a whole foods type diet, it is 03/23 and my total weight lost so far is up to 11 lbs, with increased energy. Extremely satisfied with purchase and would recommend, again, combining Almased with a healthy diet - NOT following Almased's plan. The product gets 4 stars instead of 5 because of the starvation type diet recommended. I did not follow Almased's recommendation and am getting great - and HEALTHY - results!!! Delivery promised by Mar 7, and received by Mar 7 Product received undamaged Using product to assist with weightloss, but not using strict product instructions. I had seen some complaints about taste? However, I have not found taste to be an issue. That being said, I am also combining it with orange juice, or milk with a little vanilla (have not added sugar either), and it is just fine. Something I like about it, is that it blends fairly easy - and that is simply using a spoon to stir it in with liquid, not a blender. There are some tiny parts that seem to bind together and you can tell, but drinking it, it really doesn't ruin the drink. I've tried other protein powders in the past, that were very difficult to blend and reacted to liquid like oil and water do. Almased blends pretty darn well. So does it work? Help with weightloss? So far so good. I started using it the evening of March7, and it helped curb evening cravings, I hadn't realized I had those before. I've continued to use it, but am not using the 'Emergeny Bikini Plan' and am eating a healthy diet. My diet was healthy prior to Almased, but something was not working, and I was consistently TIRED. In the few days of use, I already feel like I have more energy. Total weight lost so far...after use from March7 - March9? 3 lbs. Not much, but for me it's a start. When the scale starts going down, instead of up, like it has been, it is a good thing. Will have to give an update later, as to 'final results'. Would I recommend this product to someone else? Absolutely....BUT...I would not recommend the strict instructions the product recommends. It is simply unhealthy, to starve the body in that way. I WOULD recommend incorporation into a whole foods type approach to a lifestyle eating change (notice I didn't say 'diet'). Maybe I just wasn't getting all the vitamins and minerals my body needs in my normal whole foods approach to eating, and Almased filled the void? Not sure. Time will tell. Hope this review helps others!

REALLY works!
I got as much benefits as anyone could expect to in a 8 days. I slept better because i wasn't getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. I wasn't hungry at all and my energy levels remained the same. Which has never happened to me with other diets, I always feel week and sluggish, especially when all your allowed to eat is liquid. Which isn't that bad after two days, I didn't need the skim chocolate milk I was using. And I lost 5ibs, when I couldn't get my weight to move with diet and exercise. Sure my clothes felt better and I did too with the traditional diet and exercise but my knees were killing me and it was evident I needed to lose some weight before even doing a walking program. Everything was going along BEAUTIFULLY! Then BAM, I was extremely nauseous. To point that opening my mouth, at time's made me feel like I was going to vomit. Automatically, I thought it was the shake and I searched the internet for the exact ingredients, then 2 days later I stopped the diet all together. I had lost a total of 7 ibs and I felt sleepy and nauseous day in day out. Went to the doctors... and drum roll I'm pregnant! I will definitely be using this product post baby. I want to use it now, I am overweight and need to watch my weight even while pregnant but the doctor said no, the ingredients, soy, wheat, honey are the only ones listed but the Doctor doesn't think those are the only ones in it, so better safe than sorry. I almost forgot, another thing that appealed to me about this product is it's good for people with high blood pressure, doesn't have any stimulants in it that might raise my pressure. Which is something I'm still getting use to, I developed it while pregnant with my last child, almost 2 years ago. I wasn't on it long enough but I will say, not one day I was, did my feet and leg swell up and it took days after I was off it, for that to come back along with getting up in the night for a bathroom visit. This product will get ALL my money once I give birth. I have 3 beautiful sons and I want to live to see their sons and just maybe their son's, son's.

CONCERNED about Honey Fraud in Germany
Am sending back. Just don't think it's worth it-I'm just going back to juicing and lean protein. Living simpler. Yesterday big expose about honey from China being sold to the food manufacturers-illegally. Anyone have any info on how this issue affects Almased? Am afraid to use it at this point. As a experienced 46 yr old dieter, I am used to trying new gimmicks-especially if it helps me shrug off lbs fast. I've tried HCG (pharmacy and OTC), Weight Watchers, Blue Print Cleanse...you name it-regardless of cost. I actually figured out that Weight Watchers cost me $40/pound-yikes! Once again I realized that if I drink a bunch of wine, eat a lot of yummy cheese and crackers and once again think bread was my friend...it doesn't end well on the scale. You'd think I would've caught on by now. I saw the ad for Almased in More magazine, and went to Amazon reviews to check out what others thought. The reviews were encouraging...so I ordered. But since I'm all about instant gratification I went to GNC and bought a container to start right away. The container from GNC and the 2 I received from this order seem exactly the same-but this is better priced even on sale at GNC. I've been doing a modified version of Phase I. I enjoy working out with spin and other classes, eating only a few shakes after that would give ME the shakes. Doing a salad at lunch. lots of water and herb tea. So far so great. I have lots of energy (not common on first sentence list), not ravenous, and body not refusing to "move" as with BPC. I'm very encouraged as I feel great and have already dropped a few. I'm a traveling sales rep-need something that can be portable, and this and my bullet fit the bill. I read reviews so right away mixed with my Stevia, unsweetened cocoa, a tsp of vanilla and a tsp of EVOO (can't taste it at all). I throw a few cubes and "Magic Bullet" it 2-3 times a day. Have also put in some hazelnut, may try more flavored stevia for variety. For those more experienced, am trying to reduce dairy. Do you read or know of any issues with using Almond Milk, Coconut Water, Coconut Milk or other alternatives for variety?

Great protein content, taste not so great
Protein content is great, but the serving amount is excessive to get that amount of protein. If you are not a fan of honey, it isn't a good choice. There is a strong taste and smell of honey that you need to acquire a taste for.

Almased Multi-Protein Powder
I think this product is really good, yes I have been drinking this for about two months. I normally make a shake in the morning and one at night. I do have fat free milk and Nesquick chocolate in mine. I don't feel that it adds that much in the way of calories. I have found my self feeling better and having more engery. I have recently added the liquid mineral and vitamines to my daily routine. I must say I am 53 years old and have not had a lot of engery, at least not what I used to have. I work and try to do other things at home, you know the norm. But I also want to write and draw & paint, and trying to find the time and engery for all of what I need--- Well I have been feeling like myself again, and not just wanting to come home and plop down on the couch, work is stressful, as I think all of ours is. I would recommend this product. I find myself not thinking about food. What I do with my shake when I make it besides adding the above is I love to have crushed ice in it. I even take extra crushed ice along with me in my lunch box-cooler to add in during work while I try to make it last. I then add water to whats left with my ice. I notice its lunch time by then. I do eat cabbage/vegetable soup during my lunch. I have all vegetables not meat. I like it. I have noticed that I have stopped gaining weight, even losing a little. I feel that this is close to Weight Watchers with the milk and veggies, so that is 2 cups of fat free milk a day and all the veggies I feel like eating. I have protein with my one meal a day, if I feel like it. I find myself not really wanting the one meal a day anymore. But I will eat a little, because I think I should. I am on the slow is better idea, since I know it did't get on over night. I just want to lose around 10 to 20 pounds I guess. I am thankful for this product. Just one thing is the Almased that I order does not say diet on it. The one they show in the picture does. I have crohn's but since this product, no problems. But I do not take medicine for crohn's either. I do not have stomach pain like I used to have once in a while. I don't even have the acid reflux either. But I must say I have been drinking tea with coffee mate instead of my coffee, sugar and cream.
