I love it! Purple til you touch it with warm hands, then blue
When I opened the can the putty looked like it had melted toward one side of the can but there was absolutely nothing wrong with it, just looked strange. It was a bit difficult to get out of the can but not too bad. It was all purple In the can but with the warmth of my hands it turned blue. After a while back in the can it’s purple again. It’s a little firm but that’s why I bought it. I just take a small piece to work with my thumb and fingers. To use all of it is a big handful so there’s plenty of it. I used my grandsons and liked it so much I bought some for myself. It helps my anxiety to keep my hands busy. It softens up once you work it a bit. I may buy the other ones too!! There are different kinds, some softer. Some reviews said this was horrible. But maybe if they had worked with it they may like it. There is more in the can than it looks like. I like the firmness but that’s just me. It does stretch well too. Bottom line, I really like it! The cost is a bit much tho. $15 at the time I bought it

very cool stuf that is good for adults, too!
The heat-sensitive think putty really is heat sensitive and more useful than might first meet the eye. This stuff is similar to the classic silly putty, but comes in a murky purple that changes to bright sky blue when warmed by your hands. Everyone knows that silly putty is fun, but you may not have realized that it is also useful. I am recovering from an injury to my hand. At physical therapy, I work putty with my hands to strengthen them and keep them limber. The therapist uses a timer to make sure I do the exercises long enough. I discovered the think putty to use at home. The amount of time it takes to change color (about 5 minutes) is also about the amount of time I am supposed to do the exercise. If you have had a hand injury or have arthritis in your hands, you might find this putty can help you. (Always check with your doctor first!) Watching it change color while you work it keeps your mind entertained so that you get your exercise. If you don't need to work on your hand strength and mobility, get this because it is fun.You get a generous glob of putty that comes in a convenient tin. The tin is easy to open and close and keeps your putty fresh. If you want to make it change color faster, you can use it near a heat source or put it in the freezer. Fun for all ages and good for adults!

Nothing silly about this putty!
This is a big, sturdy metal tin filled with enough high-quality putty to fill an adult's hand and then some. The colors are brilliant, the addictively stretchy, squeezable putty is hard to put down. It makes a great stress reliever for the desk, "something to do with the hands" while watching TV or talking on the phone, and a great boredom buster for car rides and waiting rooms for older kids. (It's safe for little kids to use too, but better at a table under close supervision to avoid putty mishaps.)It is also a perfect "table toy" for adult learners in training classes, workshops, and other "sit and listen" environments. I brought a tin as a small gift for each of my staff members before a week-long training session. There were over 100 other participants in the room, and it seemed like every one of them stopped at our table wanting to play with the putty. Many people liked it so much that they copied the product information from the tin, and when we regrouped for a second session a month later, almost every group in the room had brought along putty of their own.It really is that good!

Great product
I actually bought this for my mother, who suffers from arthritis and occasionally needs to stretch out the joints in her hands. This makes the third Crazy Aaron Putty product I have bought. The first product was the magnetic silly putty, which is very stiff and hard to manipulate, but is very fun. The second product was the electric lilac silly putty, which had a nice color and consistency. This product is much easier to manipulate than the aforesaid products, but the color is nothing like advertised. It's more of a grey-blue which turns to a slightly darker grey-blue. Not very attractive at all. However, it's softer and easier to play with, so it's perfect for my mother's needs.I still plan on buying more Crazy Aaron products, because you do get a LOT of putty for not so much price, and they make wonderful gifts.

Colored Silly Putty
I got this for my son as he loves puttys and slimy stuff...When we passed it around it feels exactly like the old silly putty we used to get as kids, except its colored and you get a lot more. It is a 4 inch can with about half of it being full of the putty. Its hard, not slimy or runny. The color of this one is blue...not bluish purple like the picture. It's ok I guess...kind of pricey for colored silly putty though.

Can't say enough!
Got this in the mail today and it has been nothing but fun. The package was out in the hot Dallas sun so it was already the light blue color change when we opened the tin. I was surprised how easy is to get out of the tin even when it is melted. My son got excited right away since he has never had silly putty yet. My son is 8, he is autistic but low on the spectrum. We home-school and sometimes he can not focus. He plays with his pencils and anything laying on the table. I got this to be brought out when we have school time. He loves the idea. This putty can be made into a ball and bounces so well. It can be molded and all the good stuff. I had my son put it in the freezer for about 2 minutes and it turned the purple color, he went wild lol! My 2 year old has asked to play with it but I have to watch her since she still mouths things sometimes. My husband takes off with the putty and has a little fun too. My boy is asking for more colors.
