Fresh Battery, Easy Installation
I bought this battery to replace the original battery (a PX12072) that Verizon had provided with my FiOS installation. The original battery had a Top Charge Day of 2010-Jan-18, so it lasted just over five years. The new battery arrived in a small, sturdy box six days after I ordered it (standard shipping), and included a sheet of instructions. Its Top Charge Day was five days before I had placed my order, so it had a fresh charge. I had already located the Battery Backup Unit in the garage; the BBU had been beeping occasionally for a week or two. I first disconnected the two-pin Molex-style connector at the top of the box (you have to press down on a small plastic locking tab at the top of the connector to release it), then eased the battery out past the two plastic clips holding it in place. Once the battery was on the workbench, it was a simple matter to slide off the Fast-on connector on each terminal (pull the connector, NOT the wire). No tools were required. The new battery comes with small plastic covers on each terminal (to avoid unintended shorts). You have to slide those off before sliding the Fast-ons back on (it's in the instructions). I slid the connectors on (red to red, black to black) without any difficulty. I slid the battery part way back into the BBU just to hold it in place, then reconnected the Molex connector, making sure its locking latch engaged. The red battery failure light went out immediately. I slid the battery the rest of the way in (it fit perfectly), made sure the plastic retaining clips snapped in over the edges of the battery and closed the door. It was a five minute job. 2 years, 9-1/2 months later: After repeatedly hearing a mysterious 1-second tone in the garage, I finally noticed the "Replace Battery" indicator on the Verizon BBU had come on. Before requesting a replacement battery [still under warranty] I unplugged the battery (easy to do at the Molex connector), waited 15 seconds, then plugged it back in. The indicator went off and has remained off. Glitch or early sign of a failing battery?

Best battery choice for your FiOS ONT
I got this to replace the original battery (which was also manufactured by GS Battery) in our interior FiOS optical network terminal, which finally gave up after 6 (yes, 6!) years of service, including several prolonged power losses. The battery arrived pretty fast, the packaging was good enough (small cardboard box - no padding but the interior fit was good enough to prevent battery from moving around), both terminals were protected by clear plastic "covers" and there was a sticker on the battery with the date it was charged (mine had the date from previous month of this year). I removed the plastic "covers" from battery terminals, connected it in a place of old battery and so far it seems to be charging and discharging without any issues. Overall I'm pretty happy with this model and its price. Yea, you can buy a similar, "generic" (branded with some obscure names) batteries for about $10 less, but they only have 1 year warranty which is useless anyway (the return shipping will not be cheap and Amazon won't actually accept these "hazardous materials" devices) and which basically means you will have to throw these less expensive batteries away after about a year or so (if you have frequent power outages). So if you are looking for similar battery for your ONT - look no further, in the end you will actually be saving money compared to more "generic" models, even if it'll last at least half as long as the original OEM battery lasted in my ONT.

This fixed my beeping box!
We had a 30+ power outage several months ago due to an ice storm. When the power came back on and our Fios box started beeping and indicating that there was a battery issue. I unplugged the unit and the beeping went away. But the beeping returned several weeks later. I went through the process several times but figured that it was a lost cause. So I ordered this new battery and now there is silence. Shipped fast, packed well and about $10 cheaper than the local battery store.

Solid product - battery lasted over 5 1/2 years
This is my second time ordering this battery for my Verizon FIOS service. The first battery lasted just under 5 1/2 years which is great. Battery arrived and had just been manufactured about 2 months prior. Excellent instructions and easy swap out.

Big shout out to the vendor - GS YUASA ENERGY SOLUTIONS INC. - Great customer service
I purchased the Genuine FiOS OEM Approved Replacement Battery (3 Year Warranty) by GS Battery in Feb 2020 to replace a Verizon battery that died. Thirteen months later - April 2021- I woke up to find I had no wiFi service. The Verizon FIOS unit was beeping loudly with the battery indicator light flashing. I assumed the battery had failed after only one year. I contacted the seller through Amazon to advise their product failed and was under warranty and needed replacement. They responded back immediately to my email asking for some more details on what was occurring. I replied with the info - no wiFi, blinking battery light, beeping unit, etc. They responded back again immediately, offering to ship a replacement as the unit was telling them the battery may be an issue, but that I should call Verizon as this will NOT correct the internet/wifi outage I was experiencing. I decided to try a fix I found on-line. It turned out the problem was NOT with the battery. I was able to restore my wiFi service and stop the beeping by unplugging both the router first and then the Verizon unit, and then plugging each back in. The problem may have been an automatic Verizon software update that didn’t go through properly. I let the vendor GYES know I did not need the battery after all. But the fact that they were so quick to offer to send me a replacement knowing my wiFi problem was not connected to the battery speaks volumes to the responsiveness and accommodating service from this vendor. I highly recommend GS YUASA ENERGY SOLUTIONS INC, and will certainly do business again with them in the future.

Bell MTS in Manitoba uses this UPS box for powering up the fibre internet box. It gave me warning of low battery for months and no one could help me until I found this battery being sold on Amazon. I tried ordering few times from other sellers and they kept cancelling the order. I am glad this seller actually followed through the order and I received the battery in perfect condition. It was easy to replace the old battery and happy to see that the alarm beeping is gone
