I now regularly buy Geox because of the heat and moisture dispersion. Have only had one pair over the several years that did not perform well. This pair is one of the many good ones. As a loafer it has not had the break-down on the back edge problem and retains a smart/casual look after more than a year.

This has become a go-to casual shoe for me with a few seasons of use. With jeans or khaki shorts, wear these instead of sneakers this spring, summer and fall. You can wear them without socks if you like (A little foot powder doesn't hurt. I like Dr. Scholl's OdorX foot powder). I wish the leather was a little softer as the shoe does lose a little shape after steady wear. Some cedar shoe trees are a big help with that. The shoe breathes well and it's versatile. The sole is holding up well. For the price point, it's a solid choice.
