Royal Robbins Women's Backcountry Walker Shorts

I bought this in a US Size 16- a size up from my regular size as I find hiking gear sizes small. I did not anticipate upon arrival that they would arrive and barely get above my thighs!I matched these shorts with an old pair and the sizing seems to match a UK 16 rather than a US 16.. I matched them up with a US 14 pair of jeans and the jeans were wider than these shorts!I am extremely disappointed by the sizing. It's extremely misleading and now I have to return them via international mail. I won't be buying anything from Royal Robbins again.My only plus side is I ordered these from amazon.com to be sent overseas and they arrived in 3. Great delivery, disappointing product.

I was quite disappointed in this product. i was trying to replace a 100% cotton pair that I've had for many years and they are now fraying from age. In my estimation the microfiber they use today just isn't comparable to 100% cotton.

The back pockets' stitches were not even done correctly, there were holes in both pockets. The pants themselves were not very comfortable, either. I will not buy them again, not worth the price.

Good fabric. Lots of "hidden" pockets to store treasure. As do most Royal Robbins products, these shorts run a bit on the small size. Go one size up, if you can.

The only problem with the shorts is that within a month the stitching in the back of the shorts came apart

They have been to the beach, snorkeling, biking, kayaking and then out to a restaurant. No downside. Fit is true

The size 10 was too small. I had previously ordered same shorts in a 10 that fit. Size was not the same. Love these shorts, but gave this order to a friend. Tried to reorder, but stock was out.
