My favorite women's tennis shoes ever!
I'm a "Skippies" and "Jellies" kind of person. Yeah, so you're old enough to remember those flats on our feet during the industrial revolution age. {LOL}It was hard to adjust at first when I got these sneakers from a sneaker store in Manhattan called Sports Authority. For $50.00, it tore me apart! It was way too much for sneakers. That was in 2000. BUT, I've noticed that I still had these sneakers in 2004 and they still looked fabulous and my feet didn't become flat feet! It actually felt pretty good. It took me about a good year before I stopped noticing how tall I felt and how the sneakers were form-fitting. Unlike "Skippies" and "Jellies", I had these sneakers for long-term use. They didn't need any restitching, nor re-glueing/melting. I finally purchased another two pairs (this year 2013)! The first pair finally caved in in 2010! So, one pair in 10 years, that is not bad. : )Well, enough said, I'm on my second pair (with a spare). I love them! They fit so very nice and comfortable. And, they don't look manly on a woman's feet. Which is one of the reason why I liked "Skippies" and "Jellies". They were cute.

Great for being on your feet for a long time.
I am a nursing student, and I bought these shoes after reading all of the reviews from other health care workers.I am on my feet for long periods of time, and couldn't find a decent shoe for under a hundred dollars that didn't kill my feet after just a little while on the floor. I found these, thanks to Amazon, and I am really happy now. These shoes fit as expected, my feet don't kill me at the end of the day, and they are reasonably priced. The only thing that isn't amazing about them, is that the back seems high. The shoe tends to hit higher on my ankle than any other shoe. After a week of wearing them though, the back is broken in enough that it doesn't bother me.

Meets expectations
These are the 2nd pair of this model I've purchased. Original pair was purchased in a sports store (where I tried them on), so I expected this pair to fit the same. Results are "as expected"--a little stiff the first couple of wearings, but after that, they are quite comfortable and durable. As for looks, they are just "plain, white" tennis shoes, and that's fine with me, as I've not transitioned over to the colorful ones that seem to be the recent trend. If you want shoes that are practical/functional, buy these, but if you are looking to make a bold statement on the tennis court, these are probably too plain.

K-Swiss Women's Grandcourt II Tennis Shoe
I have a hard time finding a good sneaker. About 4 years ago I found this shoe at JC Penny's after looking in 5 or more stores. I love the look, the fit, and the comfort. I am glad to have found a good shoe that doesn't aggravate my back pain. I constantly wore this shoe and would refresh it by cleaning, using shoe white, and putting in inserts. It is a tough shoe that holds up but after 4 years I had to retire it. Penny's no longer carries it after them revamping their store so I bought another pair a week ago via Amazon. When I have free money I am going to buy another pair to hide away in case it is ever discontinued (which I hope isn't the case).

Excellent/Perfect Plain Jane White Sneaker
I love K-Swiss sneakers and especially this one. They are flat and stable, a big plus for anyone with torn ligaments in, or unstable, ankles. I normally wear a size 6, but always get a half size smaller in sneakers because I like them to fit like slippers (or socks may be a better analogy)--a snug fit. I got a half size smaller in this and it fits snugly, the way I like my tennis shoes to fit.I have shoes for snow, but these keep my feet so warm, I prefer them. Also, I haven't washed this pair yet because they're so new, but I put my last pair in the washing machine and air dryed them when they got too dirty--at least a half dozen times. They took it and come out looking like new.

Comfortable and nice looking, but I get blisters on the inside of my ankle
Granted, I have sensitive skin and I get blisters easily. I've worn these shoes 5 or 6 times so far and still my skin hasn't adapted and I get a blister on the inside of my right ankle from where the shoe rubs. Other than that, I love the shoes. I'm experimenting with tying them in different ways to see if I can prevent further discomfort, but so far it still rubs. I like a low top shoe and this feels like it's just a bit less than a mid-height. I feel like they're very supportive and for me there's plenty of cushioning.

True to size
Seems true to size and there is room for my orthotic--but had to pull out the glued-down insoles. As one of the earlier reviews stated, the shoes are a little stiff, but I have worn the shoes around the house and on a long walk--no hot spots or pinching, and I think they'll be great if we ever get tennis weather again this fall. I need an 8D (WW) shoe because of a very wide left foot so I'm always holding my breath. These did not disappoint me, and they were fairly priced.

Nice surprise!
Bought these a while ago and wore them on the courts today for the first time. I was very impressed! They were comfortable from the first step. They really support my ankles and I had no Achilles pain as I had been experiencing. I felt very stable in this shoe with no slipping. I always buy 1/2 size up in court shoes and these fit perfectly. My foot is narrow, so they may be a bit snug on a wider foot, but for me they are perfect! This is my first pair of K-Swiss court shoes and they have lived up to their reputation. I can only see them becoming more comfortable as they get broken in.
