Levi's Women's 525 Perfect-Waist Straight Jean

I was looking for a pair of jeans similar to the Levi's 526 (slim boot-cut, a smaller version of the traditional, exactly what the name implies) which have been discontinued. I also wanted a straight leg to wear with tennis shoes and ankle boots, so these were perfect. I would caution potential buyers to pay attention to the size charts and their measurements - these probably work best for those who have some but not a lot of 'junk in their trunk'. I really love that I don't have to wear a belt with these, nor do I find myself having to keep pulling them up the longer I've been wearing them. Since I'm only 5'1" (with a 29" inseam - that's fairly long for someone my height!) finding jeans available in the 'short/30"..' length is nice because it means I don't have to do any hemming.

I am so so tired of searching for a jean that fits! I thought for the price (the least expensive Levi I could find) I'll give it a try. Arrived today and they fit, they really fit! fyi...I'm around 5'8" (worried they'd be too short) and weigh in at 130-ish. These sit a bit lower than the natural waist, but not too much. I will make sure to wash in cold water and hang to dry to keep length. Make sure to go by the size chart. And, it does make a difference where mass-produced clothing fits depending on the order they're in when cutting. I have worn everywhere from a 4 to a 12 in pants. Go figure.

The standard straight-leg jeans you've been looking for. Durable. Flattering. Classic.I'm in my late 20s and am pretty happy with this product. These jeans don't look too *young* or *old* and are overall flattering. The waist is high enough but not too high-- you're not going to reveal anything if you bend over in a pair of jeans that fits well nor will you look like the 80s called and want their high-waisted jeans back.I am holding back a star because the quality and fit of these jeans is not consistent. I bought a pair of these jeans in a different wash/color in a store (and I love them so much!) and then I bought this pair from Amazon. While they are the same size, they fit completely differently. The ones I bought here ("Golden Coast") are baggy and are not flattering, especially when I sit down. Then there's a weird pooch of denim. The "Sapphire" pair I bought in the store fit as expected and are not baggy.That being said, if you can find the wash you want and they actually fit, that's great! The Sapphire pair I have are my favorite jeans.

When I found these jeans they were perfect, but they were also a bit high for my personal taste. In addition to that, they only come in a few colors. After wearing these for a while, I got tired of the high waist, and began looking for a different type by Levis. I LOVE the Levis 515 jeans since they have a lower panel in front, and they fit me much better.These jeans are good to have if you have a small pooch, like high waisted jeans (hits right below the belly button), or just like the style. I have kept the ones I have bought but do not have too many in my jeans collection.I prefer 515 over 525, but would recommend for those with pooch or that like the higher waisted jeans.

These are very similar to the 505's that I have been wearing for years. After having problems finding 505's I switched to the 525's the only other straight leg Levi's. I love that the waist isn't 5 inches to big and causing a gap when sitting or bending. These are the perfect solution to the waist issue and love the extra stretch. Absolutely perfect!!!!!!! They are true to size I wear the same size (4short) that I did in the 505's. I have bought 3 pairs because I like them so much. You will not regret buying these if you like straight leg jeans and if you like to be able to sit and bend over without showing your underwear.

I loved the Levis 525, but they were 3 inches too long. I love everything about them: the way they looked and the way they fit. They are very comfortable. I have always been a "Levis Girl". I wear nothing, but Levis. I am having a hard time finding Women's Levis in my size when I do find them. The stores are caring men's Levis, but they have quit carrying women. The store that carry women's Levis (and they are hard to find) are only carrying skinny jeans or the stretch ones. I'm an old fashioned Levis girl. I plan on exchanging the 2 Levis I bought for 2 Levis 525 in 6 Petite. Thanks so much. Please don't stop selling the original Levis.

Like others...was in a major search for jeans that really fit and were flattering. Have tried so many (Paige, Uniqlo, +++) and was disappointed with many of my choices. Searched on Amazon and read the reviews and landed on the 525. LOVE THEM!! The reviews were super helpful (great fit for a 40+ woman, not teen jeans, not mommy jeans) so gave them a try because the price was right. I have decided the rest of my jeans are now going to Goodwill and will replace them with the Levis 525s. They are great. If you are in doubt, give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

I have worn 525 jeans for a few years. I ordered a pair in black along with a pair in sky blue. The blue jeans fit perfectly. The black jeans were a bad joke. I took them off to check the size, thinking I was sent the wrong size. Nope, no mistake. Both pairs were Levi's 525, straight leg. The black jeans were a little loose in the waist, they were bag-city in the rear and the legs were wider at the bottom then the supposedly identical product in blue. I really wanted this pair of black Levi jeans. I am baffled as to why the same model fits so differently. If I could get a pair that fits like the other 525s I'd be giving them 5 stars. These jokers were lucky to get 1 star...and I'm not quite sure why I didn't go for zero.
