Very Happy With This Hot Water Pot
Love this hot water pot, it has brought so much convenience and joy to my family. My husband has stomach issue, like to drink hot water to help his stomach discomfort after a meal, this pot not only keeps water hot, it also boils water. We have used for almost 6 months, we just love it and couldn’t live without it. In the morning we use it for making instant coffee and hot water for tea through out the day. Also I like about this hot water pot is that it made of the highest food grade stainless steel ( my husband is a metallurgist, he knows how to tell the meta). Also there is no plastic parts exposed inside the water pot, very good and thoughtful design.

Game Changer for My Coffee Bar
purchased this NutriChef hot water urn almost five months ago, and it has quickly become one of the most-used appliances in my home. I work from home and drink coffee constantly — but not traditional brewed coffee. I use mushroom coffee, concentrated coffee, and other healthier alternatives that all require very hot water, not a Keurig or coffee maker. I needed something for my coffee bar where I wouldn’t have to keep boiling water, microwaving mugs, or waiting around between cups. This urn has been an absolute game changer. I keep it plugged in from about 7:30 a.m. until 7:30–8:00 p.m. every day, and it keeps the water extremely hot all day long. It heats quickly, maintains temperature consistently, and has saved me a huge amount of time. I even reached a point where I just mix my coffee directly in the urn — so I essentially have hot coffee available all day. It’s efficient, convenient, and has held up very well with heavy daily use. The one issue — and why I’m still giving 5 stars When the unit arrived, I noticed a small tear in the rubber seal. I didn’t address it immediately because the urn worked perfectly, and I didn’t want to deal with returns. Fast forward about five months, the seal finally came off and wouldn’t stay in place. I searched Amazon and the company website for a replacement seal and couldn’t find one, so I reached out to customer service. While it did take some time for them to respond, what happened next genuinely impressed me. They asked if I had registered the product for warranty coverage. I hadn’t — and they still allowed me to register it five months later. They then requested very simple information (invoice and photos), and shortly after, they offered to replace the entire unit. I only had to cover shipping. That level of customer service is rare these days. I was fully prepared to buy a replacement part and fix it myself, but instead they stood behind their product and made it right — without arguing, deflecting, or hiding behind fine print. That says a lot about the company and the people behind it.

Works ok could use re-design
Heats 3L water ok. No on off switch, have to plug / unplug. Level window impossible to see water level, needs a light. Bay o set pots or teapots not quite deep enough, have to tilt bigger teapots to fill.

The auto-dispensing function does not work on the unit I received
The product I received is malfunctioning at the first time I filled the pot with water and boiled it. I found that the auto-dispense button does not work. The cup sensor at the back of the hot water outlet does not work, either. The only way I could dispense water was to push the top of the pot manually, like a product in the last century. I would not recommend this product to anyone who might be misled by the product description of "manual and auto dispensing"--only manual dispensing worked. I am considering returning it.

Good price for the quality
This is exactly what I was looking for, the quality is really good. Its very quiet. 5L is plenty of water holding capacity. Its not too big either and is stainless steel so it would not rust! Its perfect in every way possible.

no frills hot water for half the price [at the cost of safety!]
UPDATE (11/3/2024): You get what you pay for. we accidentally overfilled the unit & water got on the floor of the unit and thank god we have a GFCI outlet in our kitchen - it tripped right away and prevented a shock. I decided to open up the unit and there is a design flaw (sorry I don't have a before photo) - the leads from the outlet are at the very bottom of the unit and exposed (so what you see is I used silicone to make the terminals water tight) - so if water gets on the bottom of the unit, it shorts. I am quite certain if you get a more expensive unit, you are paying for safety by design and foresight to not allow this hazard to persist. Docking two stars. we read all the positive reviews and decided to take a gamble on this one. We're quite certain a Zorijushi would last 10 years at 2-3x the price. So we figure if this thing lasts 3-5 years we're doing ok (and totally hate feeling part of this disposable economy but this is a lecture for another time). We did have to come to terms with not having any kind of temperature control (so no green tea for us & this is ok as we're on a caffeine break) be sure to note the unit is 3.2L so it's TALL (our old Tiger was 2.2L) and I have to admit white looks better in our kitchen - this unit is black so keep this in mind as white will be a premium. we don't have kids in the house (and they wouldn't be able to reach it) so not having to push a button to "unlock" dispense is not necessary (in fact, it's much more convenient now) [UPDATE: I contacted Nutrichef and they were nice to confirm there is a plastic film you peel off - it doesn’t have a tab so you need to use your fingernail to get it off but once it is off, it looks great and no longer cheap! so disregard my previous comment:] the laminate job done on the unit is rather poor - it looks like it might peel sooner than it should (I thought maybe it was the extra plastic you peel off but it's not) the top is simple to take off (easier than our Tiger which we learned after it broke you can take it off nearly the same way lol) ok we haven't even had it 24 hrs so I'll definitely update this review after a year or two if anything becomes apparent!
