works great, price is great!
I use this Vitacrlly 900 mg liposomal sulforaphane supplement because it reduces my pelvic pain due to excess estrogen after menopause. I love that it's all natural and broccoli based. The price point of $9.99 is perfect! And that it has subscribe and Save! 😁 I just wish that the seller would do a little better about keeping it in stock.😏

I have resumed taking sulforaphane. Buy on price.
Normally, when I use a product that comes in gummy form, I check the molecular weight of the active ingredient to see if it can pass the blood/brain barrier. Some products are not meant to have that function, even if they have the ability to do so. If the active ingredient is meant to pass the BBB I will normally use those gummies for buccal or sublingual absorption. Sulforaphane is meant to pass the BBB, so it can be used for buccal or sublingual absorption. That said, this particular product has a novel liposomal delivery system. To quote the product label: "Gummie-jel's dual layer design, with a protective pectin outer layer, stabilizes the fat soluble nutrients, while enhancing absorption for effective and overall vitality." Here is all you need to know about that: "Liposomes mimic natural cell membranes and have long been investigated as drug carriers due to excellent entrapment capacity, biocompatibility and safety. Despite the success of parenteral liposomes, oral delivery of liposomes is impeded by various barriers such as instability in the gastrointestinal tract, difficulties in crossing biomembranes, and mass production problems. By modulating the compositions of the lipid bilayers and adding polymers or ligands, both the stability and permeability of liposomes can be greatly improved for oral drug delivery." It seems to me that this brand of gummie has mastered that problem very well. Its ingenious delivery system can thus be swallowed whole with the confidence that the sulphoraphane will reach the small intestine, intact, where it can then pass into the blood stream directly. The problem there is that sulforaphane is filtered through the kidneys, as it is metabolized through the mercapturic acid pathway, which involves the kidney, liver, and small intestine. That begs the question, how much of the sulforaphane actually makes it to and past the BBB? Back when I had a large laboratory where I could address that question, I would do so, but for me, the easiest thing to do is to do as I have described and absorb the ingredients sublingually and/or buccally, knowing that they have a better chance of reaching the BBB intact. I did quite a bit of research on Sulforaphane supplements about a decade after they became well known. I began taking them around 10 years ago, but even then, sulforaphane wasn't well researched. The sulforaphane I was taking was expensive and I just gave up on it for that reason. When I was offered the Nextdia brand for evaluation through the Amazon Vine program, I decided to review the literature on sulforaphane and I was surprised at the volume of recent scientific research that has been done on it since I last looked into it. I invite you to do your own research (using, of course, Google Scholar) and then go to the pages where Sulforaphane is sold on AMAZON. Amazon has a huge array of choices since I first began using the product, and the most expensive one is still the most expensive and I don't find it to be any better than this Nextdia brand. I will evaluate and research further and I will update my review here if necessary.

Sulforaphane supplements
I am early on taking this supplement. I have a leaky gut and the reason for ordering this supplement. The milligrams pointed me to this particular brand. I feel my gut is improving and I am hoping this is speeding it along. I feel it is a good supplement and will reorder it.

Great product and price
I began using this product because it's great for the kidneys and later realize that it's also helps relieve minor joint pain. Has many other benefits, and I'll definitely be reordering.

What Exactly Is In These? They don't add up.
According to label, per 2 capsules, there should be 900 mg Sulforaphane, 200 mg glucoraphanin, 150 mg myrosinase, and 15 mg black pepper extract. That would be 1265 mg for 2 capsules. Or 632.5 mg per capsule. We emptied the contents of 5 individual capsules on our mg scale and measured the weight of each. We made sure our scale is calibrated before measuring. The weights we got were 398 mg, 368 mg, 362 mg, 388 mg, and 356 mg. Any way we add any 2 capsules doesn't measure up to the label claims. That's not even to mention that none of them are even close to what they should be at 632.5 mg each. And that nothing about the weights is consistent. This also makes me question if these even have any of the ingredients that the label claims. And if they do, is there even any amount close to the amount claimed on the label. I encourage others to measure these and post their results. We won't be taking any of these as we're not even sure what's in them.

Shorter, lighter period!
Been taking this with DIM for a couple of months and noticed a good difference! So both of these can help turn unhealthy versions of estrogen into healthier estrogen in the liver. This helps calm down estrogen dominance by not suppressing estrogen, but by making it processed to function in a better way. My periods have always been heavy and I've had uterine polyps removed twice. Both can be symptoms of estrogen dominance. After taking this and DIM for a couple of months my periods have been significantly lighter! About 1/3 to 1/2 the flow it used to be. And still regular timing every month. And it went 7 day periods to 5 day periods. I'm not going to say it'll help every woman, but it certainly can't hurt (unless you're allergic to or can't digest broccoli). Hopefully more women will see a positive difference!
