Tall enough for modern adults.
Most handles appear to be designed for tiny grandparents, so I'm thrilled that this thing is long enough for me to use comfortably on floors or to reach up patio walls. The threads worked with my floor brushes, and the package arrived in one piece, ready to go. It's a wooden handle - there's not a lot else to say about it other than that it gives a decent grip without sliding or pinching and I can attach my brush, mop and broom heads to it as required. It's a good price for a good, workmanlike item. No regrets.

Screwed from the beginning, return shipping is ridiculous
If I could give a zero, I would give a zero. Ordered wrong quantity, came up 12. Product damaged. Wanted to return, they wanted half the price in shipping than what twelve cost. Do not buy. Garbage product. If Amazon continues to carry products like this cancel Amazon.

Sturdy and exactly what I needed
This handle feels strong and well made. The threading fits perfectly and holds tight with no wobble. Great quality wood, and it gets the job done without fuss.

If diameter were the only criteria
This broom stick is advertised as 1.06" diameter. The 3 I received are not 1.06" diameter. They are 0.936" diameter which is better than say 0.500" but still 12% behind the 1.06" I was led to expect. I have to give 4 out of 5 stars (or 80%) as that is closer to the 88% of the diameter I received not the 100% or (1.06") I was expecting. This review is solely based on diameter.

A medium to good quality item not really "commercial" quality.
It works. Fits standard size threaded items but not the heavier duty commercial items that have a bigger thread. Nice metal end. Wooden handle is probably really medium quality. The diameter of the wooden handle is consistent with household use. Not really built for hard commercial use, despite description in the name.
