Recently went to New York and figured we'd try using a selfie stick for the very first time. Never thought I'd ever consider using one thinking it would be bulky to carry, inconvenient to extend, and all around geeky to be seen using. Well, my wife got sick of me commenting during the entire trip how this single $8 buck tool was the best investment I had made in ages. It fit in my front or back shorts pockets with ease. I never felt like it was going to fall apart when extended with my phone at the end or if I were to drop it on the floor. It helped us get pictures of us and the background scenery instead of just our faces taking up the entirety of the shot since our arms weren't long enough. The best feature was the bluetooth connectivity to our phones to activate the shutter. It comes with a removable button that is mounted to the handle when using extended or as a remote shutter release if you decide to use the tripod function. I got good enough to a point where I could get ready for a shot within probably 15-20 seconds of deciding we were going to take a picture. This included taking the unit out of my pocket, mounting my phone to the attachment, extending to the required length, activating the bluetooth connection to my phone and taking the shot. I cannot recommend a selfie stick enough to really help capturing those special vacation moments, and this one in particular since it is so easy to use and sturdy in design/materials.

I don’t know how much difference there are in selfie sticks, but avoid this one. I bought this one to use for work, in a retail environment, and during my process of scanning shelf tags at floor level the stick snapped. It has not been used for anything else, and I never had the desire to own one, but when it worked it was e remedy convenient. It had three jobs; extend, hold the phone, and remain functional and intact. 2 out of 3 doesn’t doesn’t get you a passing grade. UPDATE: While the condition of the item has not changed, the seller did reach out in an effort to make things right. I wish the item was constructed sturdier than it is, but that is not the sellers fault. Anything man made is prone to have issues. However, I am satisfied with the outcome and resolution that was offered. I appreciate that they stand behind their product.

I ordered this tripod because I wanted to improve the quality of my videos, and it honestly surprised me in a good way. It’s lightweight, easy to open, adjusts smoothly, and the remote works great for recording without touching my phone. I like that I can use it as a selfie stick or as a tripod, depending on what I need, and it stays stable when I place it on the floor. So far it has worked very well for me, and I think it’s totally worth the price.

I bought this to use on my cruises. It’s so much easier to hold the stick and take pictures than to try and hold the phone in my hand and get a wide enough angle. This is the first selfie stick I’ve ever bought so I have nothing to compare it to. But it works great and is compact for packing.

Works great for what it is. Not real sturdy so dont use it in the wind. Tips over easily but if used inside on a table it will do the job. It does hold the phone tightly which is fantastic.

I had a really bad experience with this selfie stick tripod recently. It seemed fine at first, but the phone holder is not as secure as it should be. While using it, the grip loosened and my friend’s phone actually fell out. That alone is a huge issue because the whole point of a tripod like this is to safely hold your phone. The build quality overall doesn’t feel very reliable. The materials feel a bit flimsy, and the locking mechanism doesn’t seem strong enough to keep everything stable, especially when extended. Because of this, I wouldn’t trust it for important photos, videos, or live streaming. Overall I would not recommend this product. A selfie stick should prioritize security and stability, and unfortunately this one failed at that. After seeing it drop my friends iphone, I wouldn’t feel comfortable using it again.
