This works just as I had hoped! I wish it was available in brushed steel but ultimately I am after functionality not aesthetics at this stage. Used for a few weeks now and have notice a significant improvement to my consistency of puck tamp and the quality and taste of my brewed espresso. Would highly recommend.

I'd had the smaller 54mm version for my previous Sage machine and was very happy with it so now I've replaced the Sage I needed a 58mm tamp and the MHW-3BOMBER was an obvious choice. Very easy to use with a consistently level puck. The 58.35mm is perfect for my Profitec 600 Pro portafilter.

This is a good, well made product.

Overall nice tamper. Feels good in the hand. Sometimes the mechanism sticks and needs a wiggle to release.

Very impressed. Genuinely helps with coffee consistency having a measure tamp pressure. Easy wipe clean. Have been using it for 6 months and it’s perfect.

The range of compression is small. I am using 19g of coffee in an 18g vst basket and the tamper does not reach it's calibration setting out of the box. I had to take the black ring off. The calibration is pretty good though. I checked it on a scale. It has improved my coffee. It would be 5 stars if there were was more range of movement.

Having recently purchased my first espresso machine, I was struggling to get a consistent tamp. This gadget solves the issue by providing a consistent and even tamp every time. Solid build and good price. It’s a pleasure to use. Highly recommend to those new to espresso brewing.
