This is a staple in our household because it really creates a thick barrier that protects the skin. It works faster than most other brands I’ve tried, and you can usually see an improvement by the next morning. I’m giving it 4 stars because, while the thickness is what makes it effective, it is quite difficult to wash off your hands after applying it. It’s also a bit messy if it gets on clothes, but in terms of healing a stubborn rash, it’s definitely one of the most reliable products out there

This is great stuff and often the only thing that works for minor annoying thingies. My dermatologist 's recommendation . However, Walmart has their own brand of 40% zinc oxide (which is what this is) at 1/5th the price. Ah, the price of advertising.

Works exactly how it should. Thick, protective ointment that stops and soothes diaper rash fast. A little goes a long way, doesn’t sting, and stays put through messy changes. Reliable diaper-bag staple every parent should have.

-Desitin Maximum Strength Paste is a staple for our baby’s sensitive skin. The 40% zinc oxide formula provides an excellent protective barrier that isn’t too thick. In our experience, it makes rashes disappear in 1-2 uses. It is extremely reliable and we don’t leave the house without it. We prefer this concentration to the 13% zinc oxide (blue label). We don’t leave the house without it and the 16oz tub provides excellent value.

This diaper rash cream works really well. It helped soothe my baby’s rash almost immediately and you could tell he was much more comfortable after using it. The cream goes on smoothly and creates a nice protective barrier to help the skin heal. It’s been very effective and has become something I always keep on hand. I’m really happy with how well it works and would definitely recommend it to other parents.

Works great! Way thicker than the normal stuff and last a lot longer. I like having the jar on the changing table. Easier to get when you only have one hand available.
