Speedo Women's Mercury Splice Endurance+ Drop Back Performance Swimsuit

I bought the Speedo Women's Mercury Splice Endurance + Drop Back Performance Swimsuit for my 12 year old daughter, for swim classes. As she has progressed out of children's swim classes and is now moving into programs geared to the development of life-guarding skills, she needed a 'serious" swimsuit that would be modest and would stay put when very active inside the pool (diving, jumping in, flailing around, doing laps,...) and outside of the pool (kneeling on deck practicing CPR,...), and yet she still wanted it to be feminine and pretty. This swimsuit looks so feminine and beautiful on, while still being modest in cut, and it fits like a glove, staying in place with no gaping or 'riding-up' during any activity. As for sizing, we ordered a size 38. She is 5'7", weighs 132 pounds,chest 34",waist 28",hips "38.5", Torso 60". It fits perfectly now, and seems to have sufficient stretch in the chest area to allow for some growth there. (As for longevity: she has only worn it 2 times so far, but so far it still looks and feels like new.)

Size was too small for my wife even though she has much slim shape than regular lady.The design was not so bad.

My 7 year old is on the swim team and needed a black and gold suit. The suit was fitted and the color has lasted through a lot of hand washing. It's a good suit but because of the material you have to watch the kids rubbing against the concrete of the pool or concrete from outside of the pool. Other than that it's a perfect suit. My daughter feels good in this suit and therefore makes her swimming better.The shipping was on time packaging was fine. I got a size 26 and the fit was snug. Which was perfect. We love the suit. It's functional and cute so it's a win win for her.

I ordered this swimsuit based on the size my Nike swimsuit is and this one is noticeable smaller. Fabric is of great quality, more fade resistant than my current one. I just wish it was a bit looser.

I ordered two Speedo women's Mercury Splice Endurance..., one black and blue and the other black and purple. I received the black and purple and instead of the black and blue I received a men's racing Speedo. I returned it and I received a black and purple women's Mercury Splice Endurance Speedo again! I am going to keep it because I am not willing to go through the return again.

I only wear Speedo suits and have worn them for more than 10 years. This suit, along with other I have purchased this year, seem to be made differently, run smaller and are very difficult to put on and take off. I am exactly the same weight, so my weight is not the issue. They appear to be made differently now.I swim 20-30 laps every day and the suits still last just as long, but are much less comfortable than in the past.

I owned Speedo Xtra life lycra before purchasing this suit and wanted something more durable. Loved the fabric and I think it will last for a long time. Now the sizing... I'm 5'10'' tall, athletic build - length of the suit is extremely important to me. After reading the reviews, I ordered one size up.... and felt bad about it once the suit arrived. I found the sizing to be the same as other Speedo suites I tried in the store. I definitely have length to spare and extra fabric in the "tush area". When wet, swimsuits expand, and I had serious concerns about 'falling out' of this suit in the water... To my huge relief, I found that the suit holds very well and feels wery comfortable when both dry and wet. Absolutely love this one and will definitely buy Endurance+ in the future!

Speedo seems to have changed their styling and sizing in the last year. They added cups to the women's suits and made them larger. That's nice for a casual swim but a drag (literally) if you are doing a lot of laps. This is last year's style. It has a high neck for hydrodynamics and ample strap support. It's not sexy but I am interested in swimming not flirting. Anyway, this is a perfect suit for indoor lap swimming and should last a very long time just like my other Endurance plus. I am happy to have found it.
