Club Penguin rocks.
(parent & child co-review): I bought this for my 3rd grade son who has been doing Club Penguin on line for a year. He loves Club Penguin and also loves his Nintendo DS (indispensable for us parents on long trips). It was a no brainer for the Thanksgiving long plane trip. The game has the exact visual appearance and game play style of Club Penguin's spy missions. My son basically disappeared for hours with this (for better or for worse). He played for a 3 hour stretch on the plane coming home. That's direct evidence that this game has some serious game play value.Ben's review:"I think the game is very fun. When you get used to it, playing is more fun than you'd expect stepping down from the PC to a DS game. It is fun in lots of different ways 1) because you get to solve missions you don't see on the regular on line game. 2) You get to earn badges, get to wear stuff that helps you on your way. 3) You can help people for prizes. The code that comes with the DS game gets you 1500 coins and a spy phone for the on-line world."For those who have never heard of Club Penguin - it's Disney's virtual on-line community for kids where Penguin shaped avatars throw snowballs, make friends, play games (such as unloading fish from trucks - I kid you not), and hang out. There are also longer structured adventures such as spy missions with more involved puzzles and detective work. Lately there's a whole hierarchical game of becoming a Ninja with card based combat (but that's on-line, not in the DS game). The DS game has spy missions that include destroying robots, train special spy puffles (the puff ball pets of the Club Penguin world), and rescue other penguins in need (and harvest the prizes the grateful saved penguins give you). There's a wireless head to head mode, but we haven't tried that yet. All in all - a real winner.

What Remains of Club Penguin
This is the only official way left to experience Club Penguin aside from the wii game, and it's amazing. Truly a fun and immersive adventure around Club Penguin, waddling around and meeting new penguins, dressing your character, and playing mini games. You also get to join the Elite Penguin Force and do epic Spy Missions! Fun for all ages.

Awesome package deal!
Daughter loves this so much. She is a huge club penguin fan and lit up when she opened this xmas morning. She loves playing it and it is challenging but not too hard for her. (age 9) The "skin" it comes with is very nice and easy to stick on, and it comes with a stylus pen, with a fancy topper on it. It is also comes with a card to redeem online (when you have signed up for club penguin) for 2500 coins to use online.I got this for a great before xmas deal....I never would have payed the regular price for it ($60) but thats just because I can't see paying that much for anything really...I got it for an amzing price from amazon during one of their video game deals sales.Love it and LOVE amazon.

Dad of two Club Penguin fans
I have a son (8 years old) and daughter (6) who both love Club Penguin. This game for the Nintendo DS has also been a hit with them. The price through amazon.com was the best around at the time, and delivery was prompt. Both kids played with this a lot while traveling over the holidays. They have also added the "skins" to their game units. To be honest, they haven't played with it a lot since returning from holiday traveling and getting back to our regular routine. I'm not certain if it's because there aren't enough new things to do on the game and they are already tired of it, or just enjoying playing with other games for now. For that reason, I give this 4 rather than 5 stars. If they return to the game with as much enjoyment as they (and the cousins they were visiting) seemed to have with it during the initial week or so, then this could earn a 5 star rating.

Only thing great about game, you can upload your coins to online account!!!
Yes, it is true, you can upload your coins.Be aware that you must have either a USB cord for your DS or a computer wireless modem connection to do this option. Thank goodness for me, I have a wireless modem at home. At first, the directions were not clear on how to get your DS hooked up to the wireless modem. I did figure it out, just by playing around with the DS. If you start playing the game on the DS, you'll see the option for uploading coins, from there you will go to the set up area and click on Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings then go to connection 1 and search for an access point (you should be in the same room as the modem when you are doing this step). The DS should pick up your wireless modem connection and if it ask for a security code or key, look under the modem box and there should be the numbers you are looking for. This game is pretty boring after a while, however you can upload 2,000 coins a day to any account. My child plays it once and a long while, I, the mom, earn the coins super fast for them on the DS, then upload to their account online, so they can go and shop. Ohhh I forgot, you also will gain access to the secret command room on Club Penguin, if you are a secret agen already.

Club Penguin, Nice
Nice Clean Fun For My 5 year old grand daughter and my 10 year grandson. I paid for the membership for a year in advance and after they have done their homework and whatever else they have on their charts. Than they get Club Penguin time. All of the Club Penguin items that I have been buying on Amazon come with a code and they can use to unlock special goodies. A good past time for them. Nice rewards and I usually don't tell them that I have bought them until they have done well and than I pull it out and the smiles are so nice and they really enjoy them.
