I purchased this product simply crossing my fingers that it wouldn't be terrible, especially after reading the two star-rating from the Amazon user copepod1414 titled "Awful Product!". All I can say is: I don't know what they were smoking, but I wouldn't recommend smoking it. I disagree with their review. This brush has held up after many sessions of use. It's a great value, about the only brush priced below $10 that actually works well. This horsehair brush does a solid job of producing a spit shine on my shoes, in conjunction with the Meltonian Cream and Usmc Black Stain Wax Shoe Polish (the cream restores the shoe, while the polish produces a high shine), the handle provides a great grip, and the hairs of the brush are strong yet soft. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase, it's a good product, I hope the seller doesn't change a thing.

Product is a great value for it's cost. Using to help shine boots. Had some light shedding at first but nothing crazy. It stopped after the third shoe or so. The bristles are soft and flexible, not sure about how well they are cemented in. But without pulling on them to test they seem good enough.

Common complaint is that it loses bristles and yes mine did too. However, it rarely does so now and performance meets my expectations.

Solid brush. Big enough to get a good grip on and buff a significant section of leather. One thing to note that I did not think was a problem: there are a LOT of stray hairs on the brush when new. Even after buffing some dry boots, brushing the brush, vacuuming the brush and buffing a strip of masking tape, there were still stray hairs falling off. This was not a problem because the hairs in the brush itself are fine. Just be aware that there are extras that will fall off at the beginning.

The shoe brush was packaged well and arrived on time. I was concerned that it would not be soft enough but that was not the case, it is very soft and does not shed any at all, it works great on my shoes. I would recommend this shoe brush and seller to others.

this is a fine horsehair shoe brush. perfect size, with nice tight bristles and perfect ergonomic curve to the wooden handle. before i used it on my new boots, i used it to spiff up my 4X beaver fine stetson, and it didn't even disturb the nap. guess i will have to get one just for my hat, too! great price, excellent quality brush for taking care of my expensive accessories.

I used this brush to break in new footballs and it works great. Gives the ball a beautiful finish and brings the grip out. If you’re looking for a ball brush to use with the original Wilson/big game usa brush, this is all you need 🔥

This is a really good brush. Yes, the first time, some hair will fall. However, after that first time, no hair has fallen off at all, and I have used it several times. Plus, it is very soft and treats my boots very well.

A decent budget brush, but it is prone to losing hairs. If you have very nice shoes you may as well invest in a better quality brush, but for average use it'll suffice.
