Fantastic pillow! Works really well and is very comfortable!
I’m a restless sleeper, so I tend to shift positions frequently while trying to get comfortable, but I spend most of my sleep time on my side. I’ve tried quite a few different pillows that purport to support my head and neck properly, keep my head cool, align my spine, etc. After using them for a week or two I’m always disappointed by something that doesn’t quite work for me. The specialized support pillows I’ve purchased have always been too firm, and many different foam pillows I’ve tried (even the ones with “cooling gel”) end up getting too hot once they absorb body heat for a while. This BDEUS pillow is the first one I’ve found that truly works. It is a rather strange looking design, but I think the “open flower” shape is the key to it not trapping heat. The “petals” (the part your head rests on) are free to dissipate heat from part of their underside, preventing that heat from soaking into and getting trapped in the base of the pillow. The foam they use is extremely comfortable. It’s firm enough to support my head, but it’s also soft enough to comfortably conform to the shape of my head. It’s comfortable in every position I’ve tried (back sleeping or side sleeping). I’ve never had a pillow that I like as much as I like this one! There is a potential negative to this unique shape. If you want to preserve the feature that lets you rest your arms between the base and the “petals”, you may not be able to put it in a normal rectangular pillow case, so it will look a bit weird sitting on the bed, especially when it’s adjacent to other pillows, and it won’t match sheet colors. For me, this is not an issue. Sleep quality is my only priority, and I have no problem leaving the pillow out all day without a separate pillow case, regardless of how odd it might look on the bed. At the time I ordered my evaluation pillow the retail price was around $38. I’ve spent a lot more than this on other specialized pillows that weren’t nearly this effective, so I think this is a great value. It seems to be well made, and the materials they use provide exactly the right combination of support and comfort for me. So far I’ve seen no signs of the pillow losing its shape. I’m really pleased that I found this pillow!

Best pillow I have tried so far
I’ve gone through quite a few contour and cervical pillows over the years, and this one has been one of the most satisfying so far. The shape does a great job of naturally supporting my neck and keeping everything aligned, which has made a noticeable difference in how I feel in the morning. I used to wake up with stiffness or the need to stretch right away, but that’s improved since switching to this pillow. It works well whether I’m on my back or my side, and I don’t find myself constantly adjusting it to get comfortable. The foam has a nice balance — it feels solid enough to hold its structure and provide real support, yet it still has enough give to feel comfortable instead of rigid. It doesn’t flatten out overnight, and it maintains its form well after repeated use. The contour in the center and sides helps cradle your head in a way that feels natural rather than forced, and it makes longer stretches of sleep more restful. I also appreciate the practical aspects, like the removable cover, which makes it easy to keep clean over time. Overall, this pillow feels thoughtfully designed and delivers on both comfort and support. It has definitely improved my sleep experience, and I feel it offers strong value compared to others I’ve tried in this category.

Works for Back and Side Sleepers!
This is a difficult product to review, so let me give you a little background for me ordering the pillow and why I waited to provide a review. I have facet degeneration in my cervical spine and have difficulty arranging my pillows in a manner that is 1) comfortable and 2) ensures I don’t wake up with pain. I usually sleep with three pillows arranged on a wedge with a slight angle but still don’t have comfortable sleep and constantly wake up with pain. Hence the reason for ordering a cervical pillow. The reason the review took so long was because I need to adjust to sleeping with this type of pillow as I had to find the best sleeping position(s). I had to adjust to a lower height; instead of three pillows I switched to one regular and the cervical pillow. I then removed the one regular pillow and used the wedge and cervical pillow. I then found the ideal pillow combo/sleep position was the cervical pillow with nothing else. By the way, this was over a 2 ½ week process. This is what I found. The pillow facilitates both sleeping on your side and back; with the height adjustment being a bonus for both positions. The price is very affordable for what you get and was even better for me as the residual pain from sleeping in bad positions (therefore putting stress on my neck) was alleviated. The pillow also runs cool, another bonus for helping me sleep. The cervical pillow has removeable cover (for washing) and has a snap enclosure that is inside the pillow meaning the cover will not come off until you take it off. I do believe it would fit in a queen size pillow case for extra cleanliness. Being made of memory foam means the pillow will retain its shape and contour to your body (this however can also be a negative). The adjustment time also uncovered some negatives of the pillow. I listed the memory foam being a positive, but I feel this is also a negative as the memory foam doesn’t have enough “rigidity” to support the neck long-term. The cervical pillow has grooves and knobs on the surface most likely to help alleviate pressure or act as a massage point, but the material is too soft. The pillow also has a tendency to slide on the sheets and sometimes I wake up with my head in front of the pillow instead of being cradled by the pillow. I wish there were half stars as I would probably rate the pillow at 3 ½ but will bump it up to 4 stars for the pain relief it provided in my case. The foam does really cradle your head, it is super easy to clean, the price is very comparable to what regular quality pillow are going for, and the cooling is a great bonus.
