Installed this camera on my BMW E39 so it’s easier for me to back up, pretty simple install those that are electronically inclined. Camera quality is very clear no blemishes very durable so far it fits like a it belonged there and it serves its function give visibility on backing up.

I'm going to give this a 3 star, mostly because I was expecting an upgrade in image quality over my OEM backup camera. Not only is the picture the same and not at all better, but the trunk handle has a strange or odd coating to it that is difficult to clean and attracts debris. It was easy to install. It fits like it should. It functions as advertised. But the picture quality is not any better than what my Car already came with. Installed on a 2012 US Spec E70 X5. Uninstall was very easy, luckily.

This was very easy to install into the car. The price is excellent as well. It didn't require hooking power or trigger wire to reverse lightbulb circuit as other do. The image shown on my screen is very clear and the aiming of the camera in its housing it a perfect fit and functionality. I did have to modify the connector for the trunk release button. The entire product is made well and fits better.

I drive a 2006 BMW 330xi, which originally did not come with a backup camera. I added a back in 2020, but after years of use it was time for a replacement. This AHD/CVBS fisheye trunk handle camera was a perfect fit and an excellent upgrade. Functionality is spot on. The 170° fisheye lens gives me a wide, clear view of what’s behind me, and the HD sensor delivers a sharp picture that’s much cleaner than my old unit—especially in low light. The parking guidelines are accurate and can be switched off if you don’t want them. Installation was straightforward this time. Back in 2020, I had to remove the trunk lining, back seat, rear brake light, side scuff panels, and much of the front dash just to run the original wiring—definitely not easy. Since this was a direct camera replacement, all I had to do was swap the unit itself, connect the RCA, and it was ready to go. Huge improvement in effort compared to my first install. Fitment is excellent. It sits in the trunk handle housing like it belongs there, almost OEM-like, and the sturdy, waterproof design gives me confidence it will last. Overall, this camera checks all the boxes: easy replacement, high-quality picture, reliable functionality, and perfect fit for my BMW. If you’re looking to replace or upgrade your existing system, this is a great choice.

The camera works well, but if you want to use it to retrofit reverse camera into your beemer, you may not like the result. First, the overall manufacturing quality is just slightly above average. The product looks plasticky and out of place. The copper-colored ring around the lens is an eyesore. Another potential issue is rubber-like coating. The handle is covered in a velvety rubbery surface often found on binoculars and some cameras. It improves grip, but it has tendency to become a sticky mess over time. Not sure why a trunk handle needs to have rubber feel. Functionally, the camera is decent. If you do not care about polished look, it might work for you. For OEM-like appearance look elsewhere.

This was a fun project for my son to do on his car. He says it wasn’t too hard to install and just took a little effort. It has a good quality image and video quality.

I'm excited to install this on my e93! I installed a android unit which I cut the dash for a couple of years ago. That unit came with a reverse camera, which is a terrible unit. I had to drill a hole in my trunk lid, and after I did, I really regretted it. It was the wrong angle, and is supposed to be corrected with shims... Not a good ending. I wasn't happy. And then I found this product! Omg, I wish I had seen that this existed when I did my install! Now after the change to this, I am happy! It is solid like it is an original part. This unit looks great on the car, like an original, and the functionality is fantastic. A great value for the money, bmw would be hundreds. For under a hundred bucks this is amazing!

My favorite feature of this little rear view camera is the placement and connection method. This one slips right into the hand slot for the back trunk / hatch etc. Its easy to install, basically plug and play. " You must have a monitor (not included) to view the images captured from the camera". The directions are clear, the illustrations are easy to identify and understand. Great product does exactly as described and expected.
