As someone who often misplaces cups of coffee around the house, I can appreciate a good insulated mug, and this one delivers! Even after being forgotten on a shelf, my coffee is still hot when I finally find it. It definitely outperforms my tall metal Starbucks cup in heat retention. That said, the lid could be a bit tighter; it does leak if tipped, which is something to keep in mind. I also wish the sliding part of the lid was removable for easier cleaning. Another drawback is the rounded bottom, which doesn’t fit in most car cupholder.. mine tipped over during a sharp turn, leading to a mini coffee disaster. I found a quick fix by placing it in a Ziploc bag on the seat. Overall, this mug is a solid choice for the price and does a fantastic job of keeping drinks hot or cold. I might consider getting a slimmer version to avoid future spillage in the car. If you’re looking for an effective insulated mug, this one is definitely worth it!

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that ThermoFlask offers mugs. The paint on the mug appears to be powder-coated, giving it a matte finish similar to other ThermoFlask products. This finish feels sturdy and durable. The cup is double walled and keeps drinks cool or hot. The clear plastic lid is a useful feature, allowing you to see inside the mug. However, it does tend to collect moisture, obscuring the view inside. The lid fits securely with a silicone grommet, making it easy to push on without the need for screwing. This tight seal ensures that there are no leaks, which is great for on-the-go use. The lid only comes off when you pry it back off. I imagine this wearing over use. One of the standout features is the silicone pad lining the bottom of the mug. This pad provides excellent grip, preventing the mug from slipping on surfaces and keeping it stable. This thoughtful design element adds to the overall functionality and user experience.

This is a nicely weighted, aesthetically pleasing coffee mug. The lid fits with a tight seal, and by some form of magic, the contents stay warm for an unreasonably long time, even with a fairly large hole for drinking through. I ordered this for work because I’m in and out of my office often at the start of the day and like to take my time drinking my coffee. Each time I’ve used it, it’s been at least an hour before I’ve noticed much of a temperature difference. My only drawback is that I wish the drinking opening had a cover. I’ll sometimes fill it at home and take it to work, so I’d appreciate that for the commute. Overall, it’s a relatively low-spill mug, but that’d be an extra helpful addition.
