desertcart.com: Replacement Insta360 Ace Pro Battery 2 * 1800mAh and 3-Channels Charger Station Compatible with Insta360 Ace Pro Action Camera Accessories : Electronics Review: Perfect Alternative to Expensive Batteries - If you've got an Insta360 Ace camera, I don't know why you would buy the official batteries made by the company. These third-party batteries are inexpensive, long-lasting, and easy to use. The charge is awesome and I would never buy the on-brand batteries when these are so good. They're everything I need and I use them constantly. They've got all the cables I need right there--while they are shorter than I might like, I can charge three batteries at once, and there's usually a place near an outlet to charge them all easily. This is a great find. Review: Insane Value for these batteries and charger! - It’s crazy how insanely massive the difference in prices are for third party batteries and OEM. At the time of this writing the “standard” Insta360 Ace Pro battery is $45 and the “PD fast charging” version is $59. Over sixty dollars for an action camera battery is beyond absurd. Right out of the box, the fit and finish feels solid and well made. They slide into the camera housing just like the OEM batteries, with no looseness or awkward feel, so no doubt they are highly compatible with the originals. If it weren’t for the different logo/branding, it would be hard to tell these apart from the OEM. In day-to-day use, performance has been on par with the original batteries. I’m getting similar capacity, run time, and reliability, with no unexpected drops in charge or issues during colder or hotter weather. For something as important as a prosumer camera, consistency matters, and these delivered. The triple slot charger is pretty standard. There’s nothing that I can say I’m super impressed with, but regardless it’s still better than nothing. Not to mention this charger can take USB-C so you can charge from a powerbank if you wanted. Though I have not tested them in sub-zero temperature, they do seem to last as long as the stock batteries. At about $16 bucks each, these are a steal!

Comes with 2 battery storage cases
The sellers descriptions states that it comes with 1 storage case, but it came with two; one for each battery. It also came with the two batteries, a three slot charger and a USB-A to USB-C cable. You will need to have your own power block with a USB-A interface to work with this cable. I just used the one for my phone and it worked fine. The batteries fit properly and worked in my Insta360 Ace Pro. While testing them out, I used 43% of the battery charge in 41 minutes. So, extrapolating that out, it would use 100% in about 95 minutes. This was taking video in 4k at 30 fps with the screen set to time out in 5 seconds. So, basically the screen was off. The only issue I have had so far was the charger seemed to not recognize the batteries were finished charging the first time I charged them. It had been a long time (hours) and I thought that they must be charged by now, so I removed the batteries and put them back in. That is when the LEDs turned green on the charger. After using the batteries and recharging them again, it turned green without doing that. So I do not know if that was a one-time thing, a random thing, or just a fluke. For the price, $29.69 as I write this, I think it is a good price. Only time will tell how long they will last. I will post here if there are any problems with them in the future.

Backup supply
The batteries that come in this kit have worked fine in my Ace Pro 2 with no issues. I like that I can charge multiple batteries at a time and the charger has clear indicator lights that let you know when the batteries are charged. You can also charge one battery at a time; you aren't required to fill up all the slots. The charger is compact and will fit in a camera bag. The batteries come in little cases so you can keep them clean and dry when not in use. The cases also have a slot to hold a micro-SD card. The extra batteries allow me to keep filming and not have to worry about needing to find somewhere to plug in the camera. This kit is great to have for trips or for long days when you know you'll want to capture lots of footage.

Perfect accessory for an awesome camera
I was looking for a multi battery charger and additional batteries for my Insta360 Ace Pro 2 that I recently had purchased. Now I usually like to stick with the manufacturer, but some items are frankly just overpriced if you go OEM. This charger and dual battery pack fit the bill perfectly and for the price of 2 OEM batteries you basically get a free 3 battery charger with this case. You can see in the pictures that the batteries that come with this kit are 1800mAh just like the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 batteries, I ran a test recording in 4k 60fps and on the OEM battery I get just shy of 60mins non stop recording. With these batteries I also get just shy of 60mins non stop recording on the same settings. You get 2 little travel cases for the batteries to store them in which also can accommodate a microSD card if you so choose. You get a USB-C charging cable and the charger. Clear LED lights show if a battery is full (green) or if it is charging (red). I also attached a side by side shot of the original and this battery pack for comparison. They fit perfectly in the Insta360 Ace Pro 2. These Batteries as well as the OEM one are both made in China.

ace/ace pro/ace pro 2 battery set
this third party set of 2 1800 mAh batteries and a charging case and cable is an easy, gently priced way to get you up and going without much fuss and equally compatible with the ace, ace pro, and ace pro 2 generations of insta360 cameras. hooray for cross-compatibility! it remains to be seen whether the third party manufacturer will sport weatherproof superiority when set against the OEM ones (battery drain at low temperatures is a significant concern). that said, for a fraction of the OEM price, it's worth the gamble. 5 stars!
