Water Chair Inflatable Swimming Pool Float Lounge, Blue

Wow, so many different reviews from 1-5 stars. Wasn’t sure to buy it, but I really wanted a pool lounger that didn’t break the bank and was portable to carry in our little RV. So I ordered this one. Funny thing is it shipped in the retail box with just a mailing label on it, not put in a brown packing box... but it got here no problems. I had it out and in the pool an hour after it was delivered. The quality is good, not great, but better than expected. Easy to inflate the 4 chambers with just your mouth (2 arms, headrest and little back support) and adjust the 4 straps. At first I had the air chambers pumped full and hard... but that floated me pretty high out of the water, and I found it was more comfortable to let some air out to make it softer like a pillow and let me sink a bit more into the water. I’m 190 lbs and no problems holding me up even with half filled air chambers. I love it... probably stayed in the pool too long. Will it last???? I hope so. Will review the durability in a month or so of daily Florida /pool use to see how it lasts.

We had our pool installed in 2010, and we purchased several types of rafts/floats at the time. That ipurchase ncluded two of these. These are the only ones left from that time. One of them has started to fray, which is why I'm looking at these again. We do not leave these outside all the time though. I hang them up to dry, and they are stored out of the sun. Our pool is a salt pool, and I don't get carried away on the chlorine level. As far as comfort, this is the only chair I use. I'm over 200lbs, and find this is great to sit up and float around on. It is also great to kick back, and take a nap on. Adjusted the straps initially, but not since. I would not let anyone jump on it though. With proper care and use, I have found this to be my best float purchase.

I bought this to add to our water chair collection (we only have one other water chair). I was looking for a different chair that was sold out everywhere, but decided to try this one out since I couldn't find the other one. This one is now the favorite! It took a while to blow up even with an electric pump, so plan ahead. I blew it up in my house prior to going to the pool, so it wasn't a huge deal (I gave it 4 stars due to the time it took to blow up). My kids love that you can recline all the way back in this chair and float around the pool. You'd think it would be a little awkward with it being in sections and just straps connecting them, but it's very comfortable in the pool. It should be easy to store over the winter because I can just deflate it. I'm so glad I ordered this!

I obviously did not read the product information correctly, as I assumed this was filled with floating "foam" that was used to hold you up, however when the product arrived in this little box, I was let down to see that it was inflatable and you just blew up the little arms and head rest. I was a little miffed at myself for not reading it correctly, but being a person who can not be counted on to ever return anything, I decided to go ahead and blow it up, toss it in the pool, and give it a try. My husband may argue this point, but I'm telling you I CAN admit when I am wrong :) Wow. I love this chair so much. It has become known as "Mommy's float" around my house because I am always calling dibs on it in the pool. It cradles your body perfectly so you're just enough in the water that you are cool and refreshed, feel like you're still getting some sun, AND your hair stays out (if you care about that sort of thing). I have to exercise self control or I would definitely fall asleep. It's just perfect! Moral of this story - don't judge a product by it's packaging or choose not to order this because you think it won't be comfortable. This float is fabulous! P.S. Just a PSA- if you live in a place with HONEY bees they are insanely attracted to the darker blue color of the liner of the chair. I have had to forego floating on this a few times in the middle of the day because the bees will NOT leave it alone (thankfully they don't ever sting, it just makes me too nervous to relax with them landing all over me to get to the chair). They don't mess too much with the rest of the floats in the pool, even the more brightly colored ones, but when I go outside, there are usually 15-20 bees just hanging out on my chair. I have taken to just soaking a towel and putting it over the chair to deter the bees from coming over and once I cover up the blue they do usually go away. Wasps, bumblebees, etc. don't come near it anymore than they come to anything else that I have noticed, and we have a lot of those around as well, so for us, it's ONLY been with honeybees.

I love this float! I use it at the lake at camp all of the time every summer. This is the third year that I have used it. And it's still in very good condition. No leaks. Straps still attached. And it holds me up very well (I'm a larger woman). I definitely recommend this.

Fantastic concept, but not durable. I purchased two of these less than two months ago,and one had a ripped strap right out of the box, but was replaced immediately. Now the other one has ripped along the seam in the slings seat. I suppose that I could sew it but I don't like to sew. Apparently, I have just missed the window of opportunity to have it replaced. These are really comfortable flotation devices and are a great concept, and I will probably buy another one to replace it, but I would consider them to be disposable at this point.

Excellent chair so comfy. We are heavy 17st and 21st and it supported us really well. The laid back position is the most comfy/stable. The sit up position requires you to balance a little. Really pleased

Arrived within days. Very comfortable and sturdy in the water. Lie back or sit upright, depending on where you adjust the pillow. Good value.

It is slightly on the pricey side but the materials that are used are a little more durable than the average float. We took it away on vacation twice and it held up perfectly and was super easy to pack because it took up almost no space. Worth the few extra dollars.
